Server Update : The Solaria Server has been moved to New Hardware & that Hardware is up & running. The Issue now for North American users appears to be DNS related. As soon as the DNS names are replicated across all the DNS servers in the US, Solaria should be Up, Running & Accessible. The Solaria Server itself is Running which brings me to this conclusion. So as it Stands, SplitScreen has done what they could, now it is up to the rest of the Internet to catch up with the new DNS name & address.

Hopefully so Yes - Currently the Server itself is up but noone can connect to it thru any portal in North America which is why I am saying it is a DNS Issue

Ditto here.

"Last I saw, it was INSIDE Vega3 on the way to Lyris....."

At first I thought it was the scotch & gummie bears playing tricks on me..... I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'... Ya know? :devilish:

What?!? Like you've never had JWBL and gummie bears before...

Now we just wait for the DNS transfer to complete. Or get glitched. But wow I didn't know that Denver got a DDoS attack, I would've thought it was better protected
*fantasizes about logging on*

So does that mean we just hit retry a lot for it to catch up? Or does it do catch up itself?

Heads up guys... something weird keeps happening.
Initially, I thought it was my net cutting out. However, I kept the window minimized... and it's not my net after all... if it were my net, there would've at least been indication rather than an extremely abrupt cutoff. Therefore, I'm bringing it up here.
I'm getting DCed every 5-20 minutes on Solaria, recurrently. Any word on this? It's rather aggravating...
I just got killed, on Prosperous because of this... again. xD I'm using a Fusion Storm with thermograde armor.

Update: It set a record just now. 5 seconds. In addition, I have an infinite loading screen thing going on here. I've made several connection attempts. Is something down?

Update: AT LAST xO 5 attempts later, the loading screen has ceased! but the Dcing has not.
Anything you folks can tell me regarding that?

I was able to get on without any issues. I hope it is not related to this issue from last night / early this morning http://forum.pirategalaxy.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4009

Hello there. Took me a while to work up the awakeness...nessness... to find this thread again. xD

The server lag's gradually getting a little worse.
It used to be just I that caught a whiff of it. However, as of 10 minutes ago, I witnessed a large group of players in front of me get logged out forcibly by a lag-spike that struck me 3 seconds after I said "wait, did you see that?"

This lasted for 5 minutes. I checked everything on my end. I'm clean.

Immediately after it ended, I and several other players asked the same question.
"Whoa, did anyone else just catch that lag?"
The resounding answer was yes, much to my amazement. Therefore, seeing as suddenly, folks started talking about how it had gotten "worse lately", I thought I might bring it up here.

I've checked out the hardware related to my connectivity since my last post. It's solid, if not just a little broken in from spending all that time in my backpack this year.

Anything you can tell me about this? Thanks.

Wolfie
