yeah and now specialy in Sol if your alone vs 5 mantis... lol
But antares ship... howmuch shots need a Mars mantis to kill an antares ship?? not that much i think...
But it would be very funny xD

Well, a Rank 35 avenger can 2 shot kill a deluvian Anin 1300, so one rocket and your probably POOOF! :mrgreen:

why not have a game of capture the beacon

a becon is placed some were in 1 system or across all the systems.
and when the becone is collected u have 2 fly back to the spot just to get 1 point.
so lets say u Have 5 GM's so thats 5 teams 5 teams battle it out in capure the beacon.
when the beacon is collected you take it to were your GM is once dropped of with your GM the beacon will reapear.
but lets have a twist to it.
when you collect the beacon your ship move's slower and a DS drops?
hows that for some Fun XD

Escort defense! Mantis and Human modes available.

This is quite different from your ordinary place-buildings-and-let-them-shoot classic. There are two modes, Mantis and Human.

Mantis mode:
Every player that has applied for the event (or is on the planet) has his map updated with a "path" - a crooked line going through tights spots, spots filled with non-event mantis etc. from one part of the map (top-left, etc) to the total opposite of the map (bottom-right, etc). The players have one minute to set up, that means placing 2-3 people on different parts of the map, or even whole squads to defend the crooked line! Once the game starts, a huge wave of the strongest enemies in the system is created. Vega could be (the way in which they appear, and all of them have the highest rank in the system):

-Custodian Commander
-Three Sentinels
-Mender (all menders from this event have their range increased +20% to cover all units)
-Two Avengers

-Custodian Commander
-Three Sentinels
-Mender
-Four Avengers
-Sentinel Commander

-Custodian Commander
-Five Sentinels
-Mender
-Six Avengers
-Mender (again)
-Three Marauders
-Marauder Commander

-Two Custodian Commanders
-Ten Sentinels
-Mender
-Ten Avengers
-Mender
-Ten Marauders
-Mender
-Ten Sentinels
-Mender
-Sentinel Commander
-Marauder Commander

And the last part, of course:

-Custodian Commander
-Custodian Commander (one after another, not like paired)
-Ten Marauders
-Mender
-Behemoth! (this one has twice the health AND twice the firepower of the ordinary one)
-Mender
-Ten Marauders
-Sentinel Commander
-Marauder Commander


The point in this event is to not let the enemy escort reach the last part of the map, where there is a huge patrol of the next system - highest mantis there (so if you're on Vega, the patrol on the end of the path would be like five rank 25 Custodians, twenty rank 25 Frenzoids etc. just enough so you get obliterated).

Only tech from that system is allowed, the game should be programmed so you can't land if you have anything more than e.g. Vega tech (rares are allowed!), not just let the GMs try and check every player.

Once the escort (with the Behemoths etc) is defeated, random cryonite is spawned all over the map. This should be a formula:

h = highest cryonite available in the system (so in Vega, like 50-60 because of the Harvies)

h x 2 + (h/2) for each cryonite. Moon events would get you rich faster than you can say "STAM-R Armour, here I come!" :D

Hope this sounds like a good idea :p

Well, i don't know of it's new but here's mine:

There are all rares placed on technatoria. You need to find them. and you may only fly in your noob-ship. You can use the antares best BP's. Without the collector, that one is the sub-standerd collector :LOL:.

The price is the rare you found.

I used to play a game called murder goal, two large teams one at point A. The other point B. A Has to get to be and B. and B to A. keep going back and forth till only 1 is left. we used to blay with a ball in the middle

i agree with him how are we soppose to defend ourselves from mantis in antares ship???? :confused: :confused:

maybe in Gemini or Antares because theres more chance of Antares ship surviving in Antares and Gemini than sol.

OK, here is something that I have not seen b4. What about a scavenger hunt type game? You get a list of clues of what to collect and possibly where. You have to figure out the clue then go collect the item or destroy the certain mantis, then your next clue will pop up. This could be done across all systems or maybe have to limit it to Vega and Antares so as to include lower level pilots. You can only use system tech, including rares and special ship. Thus if you are in Antares and your next clue takes you to Mizar, you need to stop at a starbase and switch ships. You could have maybe 5 or 10 items. And if you want to make it a little more challenging, put the GMs on maybe V4 and each time you gather or complete a clue, you must report back to them to deliver the item and they give you the next clue in private chat. If 50 ppl sign up, and there are maybe 5 GM, then each GM would have 10 ppl and could give the clues in different order to each person so one person cannot simply follow someone else instead of figuring out the clue. This would be very interesting I think. :idea:

One shot one kill

basic idea: anln 1300s only with the blasters powerful enought to kill another anln 1300 in 1 shot no mater what type of hit.

then each squad has a killcounter and whichever squad gets the most kills and whoever gets the most kills has to split the prize gold between them so if you went alone you get all the prize money so in effect the harder it is to win the more gold you win. althought come to think of that if a 1 or 2 squad suprizes a 5 squad the five squad could be anialated if they are to slow then then 5 could see more and be less suprized and ready so thats how it evens out
ovent lengh should be 30min to 1h incase squad are just wandering round not finding each other
tactics:any really you don't have to stay in a group but i don't know how this would work out either way best tactics wins

prize; 1st place: 25000 gold to split between group (5k each if full)
2nd place :18000 gold split between group
3rd: 12000 split between group

this sort of event would benefit any even if they don't have rares on higher systems and be fair to all
(althought a good afterburner might be good and a repair droid would be usless :eek:

A event that most players can survive, so noobs and other players can have some fun too, not just sol players.

I like the survive idea, work with waves. start with (for example) R6 eliminators (drop 50 of them) then R8 eliminators, R10 avenger etc. only ships and tech from the system where the event takes place are allowd:)

what about a v2 you can run but you can't hide event? players in vega ship (doesn't matter which) and gms will be set lose with parsecs of there choice with sol bps (so 1 shot 1 kill) and the last player not podded will win speed bosters and absorb boosters (seems apropriate ) or/and gold, maybe alot of gold so lots of pilots come so we can watch a killercam vidieo from the gms after killing swarms of us hehe

problem here is if pilots start to kill each other. no killing each other only gms killing. should have to register with a gm before the event so no one sneaks in later

G.M`s dont need players to be in Pirate Mode to kill a player, So all players can be pm off
