Thats nice and all, but what about those who are not planning to change? Is there someone planning to fix this error code or or do we truly have to wait until monday? I've heard stories about players losing their account during a switch so im not trying that. its like going to the cassino with ur earning from the last 4 years.

Dear Pirate Galaxy Pilot,

We are really sorry that you can't access the game. Our partner Gamigo, which you are normally using to log in, is doing a server maintenance, which will be finished shortly. Splitscreen Studios has no bearing on the date and duration of server maintenance at Gamigo. To provide temporally access to the game during the maintenance, you can create a new Splitscreen account and transfer your pilot to it. Don't worry, nothing will be changed in the game or pilot but you can access the game via pirategalaxy.com only for that time.

And here is how to do it:
1.) Enter your current Gamigo user data
2.) Enter the User Data for the new Splitscreen account
3.) Press 'convert' to transfer your pilot to this new account
4.) Enter the game via pirategalaxy.com with your new Splitscreen account.

Please give us a shout to transfer your account back to Gamigo, once the servers at Gamigo are live again.

Aha. And still im to scared to transfer my account. Nice partners closing servers whitout any sign..

I made it 1 hour ago flyfighter you can make it you will not loose your account, or if you want to avoid this, screen your account your hangar and all this stuff and then if you losse your account you can submit a ticket to the support but i think it will be okay,trust SS ^^

Thanks for being so balsy and telling ur story here :p much appreciated, i feel a little bit safer to attempt this now. One thing that keeps me back is that i wanna go back to gamigo after maintenance is finished, but im not sure about that process.

One cannot simply take screenshots when they are unable to log on XD. Good plan but hehehehehe.

Regarding the "password" entry field in the upper left corner, please note that you should NOT enter your Gamigo login password there, but the game-specific password that can be set in the "My Gamigo" section of the Gamigo webseite at any time.

The conversion page clearly states:

Please give us a shout to transfer your account back to Gamigo, once the servers at Gamigo are live again
So going back should not be an issue.

When converting, it says that my Gamigo username is unknown although i directly copied it from My Gamigo page. Weird.

EDIT: Had to spam it 50 times to go through, but it did after all.

hope the transfer works for every1

Apparently the issue is resolved, but I'm sure it'll still happen intermittently. This was a bad 'episode'. Aha

Any info on how we can transfer back to gamigo? I use ideal to pay for gold and splitscreen does not have that. Only for that i'd like to go back again :)

I was told if you converted to SS from Gamigo, you can't go back to Gamigo later.

It's usually temporary, only a few minutes.

It has been like a day or two in the past.

If it really annoys you, convert to Splitscreen account and away from Gamigo.

I just applied a workaround that hopefully should work that you are able to play the game. Gold shop might not work until gamigo fixes the issue.
