Drops

I've got a couple of questions about drops (rares in this case)

does it matter what level of mantis you shoot for the rare item to drop? or u just have to get the correct mob for the specific item?

if there are mantis of equal level on the same planet but on different locations, will just it just drop on a specific location or it doesn't mater where u kill the mob just matters that they are the right level?

does it matter in which planet u are? for the item to drop?

when the mantis spawn, is their loot automatically assigned to them, or they roll for it when they die?

In my case i had the following:
Lvl didn't matter
Planet did matter
Location didn't matter
Never had a gold one with Respawning Mantis

MMB has been found at Baumar on Pyros ages ago.

Been grinding on Baumar quite some time to find the MMB but still no luck.
I doubt if it is found on Baumar!

Try on Molikar.There is little Chance to Find the MMB on Baumar

Has anyone found SSB on a planet other then Earth yet?

Someone said something in a chat that someone they know got SSB from Detonators on Moon

I got lucky finally; i got the MMB from a lvl 40 Parasite on Molikar. Somewhere halfway on the right. It's next to an e-field. Just shoot parasites which are peeking between wall and rocks. Dont get to far or you'll get podded bij DS instantly.
