DRACONIS TOURNAMENT CANCELED? Is Not, pls read.

I think that the Draconis Tournament should still go on. I spent weeks grinding out my drac ship and even sold all my sirius tech from it to equip my rares. You should not cancel a tournament due to lack of participation. There were plento of participants, even of was least 2 teams, thats fair enough. I believe you should give everyone who pre registered for the tournament, least the ship for compensation for canceling the tournament. I for one have been working very hard and have been in every tournament since it started from Vega. Granted my team has not one any of them, We still all have been working very hard to have fun with the tournament and there least has been participation. It is very rare that we get a chance to go for these special ships, and I for one would really like the chance to try for one. These tournaments do not come around often and I even had to wake up every morning at 3am just to do these tournaments as the server I play on is 12 hours opposite my timezone. Please either reconsider or find a way to make those ships more available. I am very disappointed in Pirate Galaxy right now, and have not been online so much because of this situation.

I agree whit u nacho, the excuse that there is no interest from players is something the GM´s deternent on there own, i or any of my clanmates have ever heard a GM ask if there was interest or not.
In previus events it has happend that there was only 1 team that registerd yet the tournament was not canselt.

The Drac tournament was held on the German server whit 3 teams.

I would also like to critisise how this is done here, who fights who is determent on the spot here but is set up on the forum before the fight on German server they also post who wins what price and same whith last man standing, but this is not done here.

I would also mension that not every one read the forums so the tournament should be advertised not only on forums but also like the present event and or on the galaxy news.

I would like if Astraeus and the GM´s would reconsider the desission and go on whit the Drac tournament.

Thank you Serebus, The funny this is that I know of at least 3 other full squads who were interested in participating in the drac tournament on Solaria server so where is the lack or interest??? again my squad worked hard on their drac ships. Even some buying all new ships and outfitting them with drac tech just for the tournament. I am very disappointed with the decision to cancel. There was plenty of interest and even you can see the thread where everyone has signed up. If you read the directions on the first thread of the tournament, they said to add what ones you want to participate in and many have chose the drac one. I would really hope the GM team would decide to continue with the last tournament since it was still held on other servers.

The Draconis Tournament was not & has not been canceled. We will do it after the EU Futbal event is finished. It will be posted as close to 2 weeks in advance for everyone to get registered for it. I do hope to see more than 2 or 3 Squads for it. More will be coming - watch the Event Forums

Thank you for clarifying this topic Astreaus. It was to my knowledge that it was cancelled due to player non involvement as stated by GM Morpheus on the event forums.

As this issue was cleared here, I will lock this topic.

Please remember to check back for news in events after this tournament is over,
also remember to register your team then as should.
