We all know there's gonna be a system after sol. I call it for now: System X. But maybe we can make a wish-list. So we can choose what's coming.

First Question:
Does it need to be the Mantis home planet?
Yes -
No -

How much planets has it?
4 -
5 -
6 -

What kind of planets do you want?
planets -
asteroids -

What's the name of the BP's?
Draconis Dimension Blaster
Draconis Doom Blaster
Draconis Dominator rockets
Draco-Demolition Rocket
Draconis Destruction Blaster
Draconis Damned Taunt

Crystalic Blaster
Enhanced Crystalic blaster

the next system is called draconis. When someone finishes sol, they can tell us the story behind it (if they read mission dialogues that is)

crystalic blaster? we should come up with something better... they usually change blaster type every two systems so i think it will stay as Antimatter.

Crystalic, because mantis home system. Mantis use crystal, now you know for what.

Draconis HAS to be mantis home system, the name itself is EVIL lol and DEADLY lets raid their home system !!!!! , and after, we can introduce a new race, kool stuff.

By the way we need new ship types! :) we need ideas.

Dark matter? Vicius the mutilator uses it on his ship.

Edit: I can already think of descriptions...

Anyway, has anyone completed the story yet? the last storys often gives info about the next system.

Desan: This world was once a Oasis. Another people lived here, unaware of the mantis existence, as their technology development was low. The mantis gamma ray bombed the planet and then forgot it.

Jovian: This world has no resources or money making things at all. Thats why the mantis have forgotten it totaly and now never visit it. Due to enourmos greenhouse efffects, the planet is still temperated even if it is far from the sun.

These should be cq planets

Vega is a real star name as is Antares, Mizar and Sol (if you accept the home name for our own star).

Gemini is a constallation of several stars, the principal ones being Castor and Pollux.

Draconis is the constellation of The Dragon (latin - Draco). For some odd reason the name of one of the stars sticks in my mind being 'Eta Draconae' , meaning fifth star of draconis. It may have been used as the setting for a scifi book or some other reason.

As has been said previously the tech seems to span two systems - Ion for Vega and Antares; Fusion for Gemini and Mizar; it seems reasonable for Antimatter to span Sol and Draconis.

This reason alone should lead to the story being a continuation of the collaboration of Imperials with Mantis.

The system after Draconis (sys7) ought to introduce a new enemy of whom the Mantis and Imperials are in service to with perhaps the system after that (sys8) being the Mantis home world. Both of these systems would have a new technology, perhaps as suggested previously getting energy directly from the cryonite. This servitude to the new enemy would give a basis for both the Imperials and Mantis seeking Artifacts to allow them to escape from the new enemy, after all there are billions of stars in our own galaxy so plenty for everyone. In the latter part of the Mantis home system the story might give us access to Mantis ship designs. These systems might have new ships at ranks 70,80,90 and the magic 100 for the mantis designs.

Systems 9 and 10 would be the continued battle with the new enemy whilst remaining in competition for resources with Mantis and Imperials. The energy source for these systems could be any of the fundamental interactions such as Electromagnetism (leading to Ions), Weak Nuclear Force (effectively fusion and fission), Strong Nuclear Force (holding quarks together and involved in defining Antimatter) or some interaction on the scale of the Plank length (10^-34 m) where even a pure vacuum is 'frothy' or more outrageously the dark matter and dark energy in the universe; though the latter is currently little more than a mathematical correction to existing cosmological theory.

Well as they say in antares story, a theory about the artifacts is that they are a map, leading towards a system, well Astrogation chips works by pinpointing another systems's stargates exact location, which is needed to travel there, well the artifacr maybe is some sort of ´´stargate pinpointer´´ too? as the rumors say, the artifacts lead to a planet purely made of cryonite...

Here are a few of my descriptions for normal blasters in Draconis :D

Quantum Antimatter Blaster
This version of the antimatter blaster technology has increased electron-positron collision, specifically four at a time, making it one good weapon to turn Mantis into mere atoms.

Enhanced QAM Blaster
This "overhauled" version of the QAM Blaster contains a few more electric charges on collision, making it punch out a bit more power than the normal QAM Blaster.

Dual QAM Blaster
As the tin says, this blaster uses double the electrons-positrons in that the normal QAM uses, so that means 8 particles each are collided into one big explosive energy source, which is the directed through the blaster nozzles, outside the ship where the energy is released, anihilating any unprotected hull or enemy.

Enhanced Dual QAM Blaster
This is an exact replica of the Dual QAM Blaster, except it takes an element from an old friend - it adds an extra electric charge to the explosive antimatter energy released, making it stronger - and better, in turning enemy hulls into elementary particles.

Quad QAM Blaster
This is the strongest blaster ever developed by Draconis Technologies, as it uses four groups of electrons and positrons which don't dirrectly detonate inside the blaster nozzle and use that energy as firepower, but are sent hurling towards the enemy where they detonate on touch - no containment fields required, just some sunglasses to watch the fireworks.

Hope you like 'em :D

In the old forum I started a thread on possible names for Sol blaster and look how far that got us! None of our suggestions/wishes were used. Why bother trying the same thing again?

The artifact peices when complete, will more than likely lead to a new galaxy of solar systems which will lead us back towards the mantis homeworld. They want the artifact as well so maybe they are trying to simply get back home??

How about using Plasma as a naming convention for some future system? This is based on the new theory of how the universe works (electrical/plasma theory). After all, plasma sure sounds like an effective weapon system!! LOL

Draconis Doom blaster: The ground is shaking... the mantis look up to see what's coming but it's too LATE! Shoopdawoop your enemies with the Awesome force of the legendary Blaster of Doom!

Quantum AM rockets: As the name suggests, the antimatter is packed in extremely dense pellets, contained in a quantum sized net of containment. The rockets is sent away, the containment field disspaears after impact and BOOM!

We came up with antimatter power source, so they did listen, but the rare should have been named Sol Supernova, not Sol Sonic.

And plasma, well it is almost the same as fusion, so...
The problem is that there is very little stuff more powerful than Antimatter.

Should have been called-
Sol Siphon Blaster
(Siphon meaning "go through")
Description - Using concentrated antimatter particles this blaster will go through mantis hulls like water, even burning the ashes that are left!
