Draconis Meta 5 Sniper ship question for owners of 1

Just played with one for a few days now. Have not done any pvp, just not my thing so aint got input on it.

This is what i have noticed with the installation of gazica gear on the ship. Everything cools down much slower. Afterburner is a joke. Cant even ab pass mobs without getting shot at. This has Never ever happened on any other ship when using ab. With ab on its like 1/2 speed of normal ab operations. The distanced traveled is about 30% less then my sol sniper ship with same gear.

1. Anyone else experiencing this?
2. Is it only me?
3. This some kind of JOKE from Split screen?
4. How lame is it when you cant even out run a mantis?

I don't know if this is a Bug and yes i am ranting!

did it ever cross your mind that that stuff is meant for rank 60 ships? you are experiencing the same thing that would happen if you put a Fusion Force ab on a 45 ship.

Explain this to me then, Parsec & sol sniper with same said ab can out speed and out distance my drac sniper. Now that the parsec is rated as a 70, if want your saying holds true then the parsec should experience the same thing. No?

parsec with top armor is rated as a 70, next to top is 60, thermo is 55, lowest is 50. sol sniper is 60.

Rank 70 ships (Parsecs too) are very weak by a Rank 60 afterburner, It has effect but it's too slow.

I would suggest you to instal a Drifter Ab or wait for Hive.

Being that im the only one atm with a drac sniper on the aeria server, aint got anyone to ask there. Thats why im asking on this post. With the server currently taking a dump, getting there wont be an easy task.

You are correct in what you say, however when the 3rd armour is added to the Parsec, it flies like a beached whale because the ship is too heavy for a Sol AB as it is now a Draconis ship.

When I added the Draconis rare AB the difference was dramatic to say the least, so in theory if the Drac AB is added before the armour then it should be super fast. the only problem that may arise with this is the level at which you can use the tech.

Maybe someone has already worked this out and done just that, it would be interesting to find out.

thx for chimming in. Its not the sol ab thats on the drac sniper, its the 2nd gazica ab. How can a ship be too heavy for an ab thats from drac?

I see what you mean, I had the same problem with same AB, I believe that they are graded as to how much output they generate when activated, so the higher the AB the more power you get to leg it.

Its a case of snail speed to ludicrus speed from lowest to highest. You will see the difference when you get the Drac AB,

Good to know dogdrool. At the rate rares are dropping from draconis, its gonna be a while. Theres only been 2 rares from there on the entire aeria server since its been out lol

But on Hive lol. Jixao only needs 2 more rares to get a full rare sniper.

That is nice. Unfortunately our server is yet out on Potty break again. Which makes it even harder to farm for anything lol
