Hitting on the grinding issue and Draconis ship and bp cost, I agree that the price of these items are way to high. Yes I know they did that to slow us down but by slowing us down by making all drac items very high cost has turned a fun game into a grind only game. We all know you have to grind to get better ships and items but this is ridiculous. By making everything so expensive and splitting up the bps you have turned this game that was fun into a game that you cant play because you have to grind constantly which leaves no time for anything else. This game should change the name from Pirate Galaxy to Grind Galaxy. I am scared to even think how much the ships and bp's will cost in the next system. It would be nice to be able to play the game again.......
They sure did think that by this cryonite penalty, would stop us go to lower systems, omg they should think again, btw they earning big tiem cash, as I already said they did get what they wanted, but making us players sad, was just rude.

Hello, I just came back after some 8 months absence.
I left because i was tired of this endless grinding and lookin for rares. Or E sucking, for that matters.
I came back, the E-sucking problem is solved. But you have to pay for it. Ok fair enough.
So I payed for membership.
Well i seen prices of stuff in Draconis, i see the grinding spots, people ask you to leave even before you start shooting 'THEIR' harvs on Mars....
The idea to split up the bloody rares in 14 FORTEEN!! bits. I did not know that when i came back, if i had known it before i payed for the membership to get E i would have quit for good.
Yes it is grinding, grinding, grinding. Or endless boring shooting the same stuff for rares. When u find 1, u have to find it a dozen more times.
Let me pay for the bloody golds and i will just buy the things. Just as i buy your membership for E. Simple. At least it will keep me goin without going frustrated again. It's annoying to spend days to try and find a sol attack droid. Let me buy it and get done with tryin to complete the ship.
Anyway, a few changes are ok, most are just to keep us grinding and slow us down. Oh and the achievements. Shoot a thousand snipers on mars?? That kind of goals is a plain insult to any player.
Keep them busy.

all the good devs left this game along time ago, all the devs that are left with splitscreen are the ones that cant get a job anywhere else cos they suck. All the templates are already in game to make a new system, the only hard work to making a new system with a java based game like this one is thinking the new story line for the next system. I really hope splitscreen are not hoping this new game they are making will save them as it looks crap and is not a patch on pirate galaxy, i would really love to know what is going through splitscreens head cos from my point of view it looks like they are all smoking crack and thats a shame cos this used to be the best game out there till draconis

just posted a complain about the same fact on another thread, but anyways, i TOTALY AGREE with the fact these ship costs are way and way to high. for someone like me, who doesn't have membership or any boosters, couse i don't wanna spend my money on it, because you pay real life stuff for a thing to change a few pixels on your computer , this cost a lot of time, but you are forced to do it, because you can't continue without.
also what keeps me wondering is sirius, if the cost increased 5x with one system, well then next system they do to you would get 500k for ship, 2.500.000 fully equiped 5.000.000!!!!! for RARE!!!! :frown: but even if they increase 2x: 200k for ship, 120k first armor 160 k second, and 1.6mil total for ship, 3.6mil for rare! and that is more than a parsec so that is impossible! or they must change the sirius armor to 1.5 million...
and btw in most games millions are only for the best of the best, no matter what!
i hope SS will understand this, but i think only a organized protest on all servers will couse them to see this mistake...

Well, as this was posted by the SS "LMOD", apparently we may not even be seeing another system. This indicates that they haven't even started on anything after Draconis. I tend to believe that, because if they were going to continue the game they would be promoting it. There is just no sense in trying to "guess" what's going to be in something that doesn't exsist.Adrana said:

Plop, while I may agree on a few of your points, I would ask that you keep the tone of your post in this particular thread less flaming. I don't want to see it locked or removed - but rather let it be a place where players can express their opinions, frustrations, and point of view. But expressed in a way that doesn't make the mods say... Ok. That's it. Done. This post is outta here.

Let me sum it up.
- We hate the grinding game this has become. Maybe we would hate it less if there were places to actually grind without conflict and frustration.
We hate the prices that drive us to grind endlessly in conflict with all the other bored angry pilots for the same spot.
We hate the boredom now that we have finished Draconis.
We hate that the cry loss is now determined by our level and not our ship.
We hate the added achievements that we've spend HOURS and HOURS on - that DO NOT work and many of which are bugged AND give us nothing whatsoever for acheiving the ones that are not bugged.
We hate the loot system. We hate having to get piece after piece of blueprints.
We hate the cq system that gives us NO cry bonus which gave us the opportunity to make up the cry loss for podding 5 times on the planet surface.
We see no profit in being red and achieving a bounty. It means NOTHING. We get nothing from it.
We hate the deceptive pricing of gold that went from a "discounted price" of 133k gold (which it never was in over a year of playing) - for $100.00 usd of real currency - to 88k. Real money guys. We pay real money except now we get less for the money we spend. So, I suspect your profit has improved at your customers expense.
Way to go, guys.

btw, i remember a friend of mine (in real life) showing me the same thing but then with rs(not aloud to say i thought) there jage* holded a massive voting for who wanted the changes to be restored (though only for two thing ingame, not 8 like here). but i would like it if we could see the percentage of PG(all servers) agrees with all of these statements , or some of them.

Well indeed. Shortly I reached level 70. That is only possible by the way because of my clan and some other people that help out on missions that are next to undoable in a Sol ship solo. So u need a squad and all missions were with help of people in L70 ships.
Solo in a Sol ship flying around on Gazica is almost impossible. Let alone get your bp's in a sol ship. You cannot do the white missions alone in a sol ship on Gazica.
So why do you devs make me fly around in this bloody Sol ship for 17 Missions? Getting shot bye anything that moves on the planet? Only able tot do a few missions alone.
Now, finally i reach L70, i had 350 Cry. That will keep you busy on mars for a bit. Grinding. Even with 'bought cryonite refiners'. Meanwhile i grind my teeth as hard as i shoot mantis, because i have a lame '13% less chance to find Cry' with my sol sniper on mars. So now i get PUNISHED for grinding. I pay for a cryonite refiner and then u take 13% of becausee i grind in mars. WTH...
THE SHIP AND BP PRICES ARE STUPID. What do u expect me to do, grind for 2 weeks to buy a normal ship??
Why? Where is the fun we had in being able to buy not one but even 2 or 3 ships in a reasonable amount of time?
Raise the cryonite reward for whites, do something!!! To make this fun again.

- u make ships and equipement so expensive that is not possible anymore to try and fly several ships within a reasonable time.

well, i have to agree ALOT!!! The prices for the ships are insane, i mean, 100k just to grind the ship is a Massive insult to any player. I origionly stopped playing in March cause i got so fed up off the game.
And just b4 anyone does want to know why a lvl 36 player who started on the first of this month, or July 2011 when googlers eventualy find this abandoned game and forums, my main account is Ahsoka, quit using the account a bit mainly cause i messed it up, thats k but i preferd this game bk in 2009 when i started playing the game. Everyone didn't moan about "How expensive Ships are" and the main fact that ships where 50% less cryo to what they are today.
K they increased the E cap, thats great, they made it where u can remat, thats also great (but it should be 30% of ur e cap so u actualy have E to get to a field to refill) and the fact u have to get a dozen or so rares is also great (if u want to loose ur players in the process).
So something has to change, and i don't me next year, or the year after that, but NOW!!!! otherwise this game will die!
So pls SS, and i speak on behalf of all players in PG, change the game bk to what it was like in 2009 and stop insulting us with insane tasks like, grind 100000 cry for a drac ship, we might aswell of just bought Parsecs, Dominators, Terrorizers and Constructors instead of bothering with Drac ships, atleast then we got a trophy ship!
So here's a list of what ur Community would like u to have changed:-
1. Drac ships are bought down to a Better price not the absolutly Ridiculase as they are now!
2. Put more Side Quests into the game that are intresting to the players and add more events, invasions, bosses etc and stop putting in the Fast Player Retarders cause, they don't seem to work and the more players speed throught the harder systems become and the less players stop playing!
3. Put the BP's bk to how they where, they where k, now u got to spend 6 hours to complete a BP where it would of taken 15 minutes or so.
4. Put the CQs back to what they where like, where u can go into a CQ with or without a clan, it was fun for everyone back then and we could have a laugh.
and i'll let everyone else put there own stuff on cause it get's frustrating when u start in 2009 where the game was more fun and now all thats turned into nothing but bordom and insults to ur own gaming community cause this game will die in sirius if you guys keep going in the route ur going!
