if there was a Planet called Nibiru and was going to impact with Earth, why can't we see it yet?

all i can say, I am bad in translation, I speak 2 languages, I don't say that I can translate them lol....

thats kinda strange I know,

but here is the first part:

Afgelopen week werd via de media naar buiten gebracht dat we in de nabije toekomst een tweede zon aan de hemel kunnen gaan verwachten. Dit zou zelfs al in 2012 kunnen gebeuren, volgens astrofysicus Brad Carter. De vraag is waarom er juist nu berichtgeving komt over de tot supernova uitbarstende rode ster Betelgeuze, terwijl dit al enige jaren bekend is.

Past week the media told that in the future a second sun will appear at the sky, this could happen in 2012, thinks Astrofysicist Brad Carter. The question is why now information about he supernova of the red star betelgeuze is announced, while this is known for many years.

And nibiru thinks that it's an conspiracy to come up with the Niburu Star that will appear in 2012.

I did find a another story about earth going down and it said Nibiru, but they are like one of the stupid ppl that believes that, and i got facts to prov it, as many more stupid times they said earth going down, 1 word for them if earth goes down it's no more, and earth will stay even if we are gone lol-.-
yeah, i don't believe in that earth is going down, but the fact is that nibiru has past earth many times, many ancient religions and cultures stated it, so it's kinda strange that it would destroy us now,

btw, they believe it will return on 2012...

Oh, my reactions on the votes lol:

Pro: 3 unbelievers, you shall die when the time comes lololololol

Against: haha 1 loser that believes in it, lololololol
The point is, there are so many conspiracy nuts and theorists all predicting different times at which the world will end, that when it does, at least 1 person can say "I told you so". There are no accurate predictions, just a tonne of random guesses, one of which will probably be right.

But anyone who seriously follows one of these end game theories needs medical help. ^^

Whatever

personally i dont believe in such thing as rouge planet nibiru but things like planet killer asteroids are a fact that cannot be ignored. it's not a question if earth will be hit it's question when it's gonna be hit. hubble telescope cannot spot planets because their small size. in any case i think the future of humankind depends on space exploration and as stephen hawking once pointed out if humanity dont develop space technology and colonize other planets it will eventually be extinct as a result of major war, some disease, asteroid impact etc.good topic tho. gives u sth to think about but JPL is making progress in developing new engines so by the end of this century it can be safe to say that mars will be colonized. humankind may reach proxima centaury in some 150-200yrs from now.

actually, we are already able to create space ships that are much faster then the onces we use,

we now use bad rockets that use oxygen, but we can replace that with ion thrusters that run on atomic power.

they only work in space cause they can't get enough speed on earth to leave earth's gravitation, but you could use them on the moon, maybe even on mars, however, they let you accelerate much faster.

(might be my last post for some time)

well that goes without saying, someone could probably throw something by hand out of orbit of the moon because of the low gravity and no air resistance,

Eh, I don't believe that Nibiru can even co-impact the future of the Earth, and I have two reasons why it's just a bunch of pseudoscience:

1) Many astronomers and cosmologists dismiss the idea of there even being a Nibiru out there, and even if there is, how can the primitive Mayans that lived millennia ago predict that Nibiru will cause a pro-apocalyptic impact?

and 2) Again, even if Nibiru is out there, and based on the theories it is a dwarf planet, it's gravitational impact on other objects and debris is too insignificant to clear those out of the way, in order to make a perfect ellipse, and thereby impacting the Earth...(and that inability to clear debris out of its orbit was the primary reason that Pluto got demoted to a dwarf planet)

Anyways, that's just what I think, and if you have anything contradictory or provocative to add, then please! ;)

I would say mars it not a great planet to colonize, cus it's much closer the asteroid belt, would be kind of weird to get there...

True, I bet it's mainly just a thing that Humanity wants to get.

Sure Mars doesn't really have a lot of good things, deadly radiation, sandstorms etc.
But it has water, a vital resource that we need if we want to keep exploring. We need to survive and to make fuel (Oxygen and Hydrogen, rocket fuel).
