The fun on this game for me was when I have the power to go alone on higher lvl mantis and dont pod every 1,2 or 5 min, the fun was when I get my gold bp and when I helped some of my buddies or even some pilot that I c for first time, the fun was when I c that the double cry that I give for the rare worth it cause it was a lot better than the best simple,the fun was when with 1,2 or 3 hours only griding on harvs(is so boring ) I could buy my rare and continiou on thinks i like, the fun was when I go at cq and dont lose 1,4k cry every time I pod, but the fun on this game only just was........

You manage to make it so hard so the boring thinks is a lot more now than the fun thinks not only for them that dont wont to give u 50 euros every month but even for the pilots that give it to u.......

I can understand that u need money to work and have this game on line but i think that almost everything that u changed on this game this last 30-40 days they wasnt to give us more fun but to make us give you more money or give up!!!! for me this game isnt Pirate Galaxy any more cause is so different (to worst)from the game that i know-ed and because is the only on line free game that u realy cant have fun with out pay(some times not even play) for now on for me PG means PAY Galaxy!!!!

I hope that u prove soon that i am wrong buy bringing to us the fun back on this game

Frankly... Im surprised this post has even made it to three pages without being removed. WRichards has been one to speak out against all that has gone wrong in this game, defended us, the players, who had come to love this game, and those of us who have spent our money on this game. He has had his posts removed repeatedly, sometimes justifiably, and sometimes unjustifiably. He has now been banned from the forums for 30 days and banned from the game for 90 days for voicing his opinion and defending a players' consumers rights. THANK YOU WRichards. I dont expect this poll to have any effect on SplitScreen, as we have been trying to get them to hear us for months. I voted, and my vote was NO..

Thanks for your vote SYX...i have no doubt at all that this will not alter the mindset of SS one iota and was keen to see just how long this thread would last, and under what pretext it would be closed (if any).

Yes we owe a big debt to WRichards, so much for democracy and quite clearly the truth hurts. I too have had posts removed (most recently one suggesting a wall of honour for all the long serving pilots who have left in disgust, the current update being the last straw). I am just wondering how long it is before I am censored too. Google vs. China deja-vu.

I have also been informed that similar polls have been closed on other language forums (unsurprisingly).

It rather makes a mockery of the forum as well as the game. Clearly now the forum is being vetted not only for abusive language but also for overly negative views of the game and the way it has been managed recently.

Damn shame that they have done that to datajam. He only spoke out because he is so passionate about the game. I guess they do not understand that. I have pretty much stopped playing these days. No longer an admiral, and mostly given up on any fun coming back into a game I played and loved for the past year and a half. Damn shame. I play some but all the fun has been sucked out of the game by SS. They are like vampires, but instead of blood they go after fun.


Give my best to datajam for me please. hope to see you both around in the future.

In the interests of good jurisprudence i would ask all to suspend voting in this poll until tomorrow's updates have been made and the Q&A session taken place. I understand that maybe not all issues will be addressed but until such time that ANY changes have been implemented i think it is only fair to all concerned to suspend comment.

Dear spacepirates,

with the upcoming small update on Wednesday we will start to address the farming problems.

To explain some of the current problems of players.

A lot of the "bad" blueprint droprate is just a feeling of the players, caused by the lower respawn rate of harder enemies.
Therefore it is indeed harder to get the blueprint but not due to a lower droprate.
Some of those units considered of players to have a bad droprate are i.e. harvesters and menders.

On Wednesday we will deploy changes tht should improve the cryonite farming in the draconis system and those above mentioned blueprints.

The healthpoints of enemies in Draconis overall will be reduced, this will make farming in Draconis easier and more interesting for Draconis players.
The needed amount of blueprint parts needed to complete a blueprint will be reduced for those above mentioned blueprints.

This update will be followed by a few additional smaller changes to the balancing of the farming mechanism which we will announce beforehand.

Furthermore we will do a question and answer meeting in Kalabesh Orbit on Server Askone on February 2nd 2011 between 15:00-16:00 GMT.

I see nothing in that post about getting the ship controls to work right. I and many other players have tried all the suggestions and still are having a hard time getting our ships to fly where we want them to. I never had any issue at all controlling my ship before the update.

History learnt us its not worth to talk with those lamers/thiefs/liers etc...

Many known by me ppl have left this game after last updates without word, they know its not worth to even speak here. Now they are playing in better games. Those ppl are even creating is those games, PG teams, espeialy for ex pg players.

For such greedy ppl like SS, works only one thing, stop all to buy their stuff, this will only works

I specifically asked for some control on posts in this poll. Calling anyone a thief/liar or lamer (?) is both defamatory, unsubstantiated and inflammatory and it is posts like this that will see the poll suspended or worse, removed. If you have an issue about lying, theiving or anything else of that nature then please raise a seperate topic.

Hody m8....it's why i said poll is suspended and not final. There are a lot of issues that need addressing, and only then will all parties be satisfied (hopefully). I, for one, would like to see the bp imbalance sorted, and not just for collectors/reps. A lot of rares are rarer than others, especially those that you can only get on the Hive, because the same type mantis also drops the rare available on gazica...such as assassin...ddb/das...or rocketeer dapc/ddr...there should be an even distribution of these...available drop both planets...or one per planet...or in the case of the above you may need 26 parts,,,but...you may need to drop 52 to get the whole bp...theoretically.

Steering...is a major contentious area, especially as, if you get hit by the remat bug you relog into a drunk ship as the settings don't remain.
