Really It's simple, Both Splitscreen and Gamigo have misunderstood how to make a game harder in the higher levels. You don't just make it harder but you increase the rewards too, and that's by A LOT. The rewards are what they've fallen behind on. Sure you can make the drop rates for bps lower but not too low. It isn't really good to lower the drop rate on crystal but it works temporarily (will probably be wrecked on the moon or earth).

BUT YOU CAN NOT KEEP THE SAME REWARDS AS THE LAST SYSTEM!
Sure, the bps are stronger, but even with us having Ob which gives us 2% increase on crystal I've still gotten sub 30 crystal drops on Mars. When I first started this game I expected the drops in the 40 - 50 levels to be around 100 - 200 at the least so that you could buy the parsec without spending a fortune on crystal boosters and having a life. I know many good people with parsecs and the other classes of the parsec and most of them are either extremely dedicated or just really rich guys. (And even if you are rich you still have to be extremely dedicated to get the parsec)
