Conquest - not as fun as I thought it would be

First off let me appologise if this is in the wrong thread, I wasn't sure where to put it.

I wanted to write some long winded descripive peace here about my first experiance on Dante (a conquest planet in the vega system) but i can be ***** so instead here are the reasons I think it s SUCKS and what I would do about it.

1. The conquest ship - OP or what?

Firstly I would give the CQ ships a line of sight, this would mean a more tactical approach to your movement of the ship.

Take away its after burners, matybe even make it move slower. this thing is so big it should fly like a brick on the planet surface, slow and cumbersum not due to lack of power but instead due to stress limits of the hull! This would allow a more intense close quarters battle for the smaller ships (squads).

Make them use the pilots energy but have it regenerate, they could also do with regenerating near by friendly pilots energy lvls.

the shields, I wouldn't take them away instead I would make it so anyone inside them would negate them. meaning the squaddies can get in close and hurt it hit an run style while the slow CQ of the enemy wouldnt want to be getting that close.

I would also make the weapons more powerful with a chance to hit based on size of ship and range, big chance of hiting a CQ ship little chance of hitting a fast moving war hawk maybe even with a lesser area effect added. I might go as far as making them have a close range limit so if your hard against it it can hit you, though I'm not sre about that.

2. Energy is hard to come by

I found my energy gone real quick with few low yeild energy fields, maybe this was intentional so you had to defend an area so your people could refill. Personally I feel energy should be more abbndant, perhaps through more feilds or perhaps through some kind of exchange from the CQ ship (an area effect arround it)

3. Landing Zones, more of them on a CQ planet, Im not sure because i wasn't in the CQ ship and always landed near it but for two enemys to share a spawn point is just wrong.

Please let me know what you think of about conquest and its set up, share your battle storys and call me an idiot.

Thanks for reading! (oh yeah just so you know i dont know much/a thing about programing so I dont know how easy or hard it would be to impliment any of this.)

mhmmm, most of the things you said about cq ship were in the game or on the PTR, but they removed it.

The CQ´s are mostly about gang rxxxxg the CQ ship and will be until major change is done on the hole system.

EXACTLY!

But if they change it back, i would like to have some planets with the old system, or maybe still have the cq ship, give it less armor, and make it weapons stronger, and have it become optional to participate.

First we use some tactics in hammers to win CQ's, and as far as I know we are kicking your azzes in CQ's lately.

Our tactics work, unlike yours and your SK friends that are "Defeated" the first in any CQ . . .

Just because your strategy is weaker than ours, doesn't mean we don't use one and we go blind shooting!

Xr-guards just took most active players in 1 clan and started to make CQ's, worked for a little while, but not anymore. Is that a strategy?

Just remember, Hammers, TM and alliance will always be here to kick some xr butts :)

Sure, and we are more? Lol:) just funny.. on Mercury last time you there was 33 reds against us, we were 3vs 4 clans , we were 4 but 4th clan only had CQ ship and 2 members, it was very close battle so don't talk about numbers... Oh and can I mention that today you ALSO lost mercury? Just enjoy game :) Last post.. Not gonna write anymore, it's just spamming topic, and going Off-topic..
