Conquest change

I was thinking that instead of conquest ships, we could have conquest bases. Not sure if anyone else has suggested this but here it goes.

When a clan registers in orbit for a conquest, a conquest base is spawned at some random spot on the planet. When the conquest starts you can choose to land near your conquest base, squad leader or some random place, kind of like it is now. The goal of the conquest is for your base to be the last one standing. This leaves you with several choices. Stay and defend your base from attack or head out and attack an enemies base. If you decided to head out you leave your base exposed, the conquest for you might be quickly over. Sending all your players out to help an ally may cause your base to be attacked, then you are out of the CQ and no longer supporting your ally.

It seems to me, a conquest like this will require more thought and planning. Thus making things more interesting.

Should also be added some more stuff like :

You need to collect some special kind of E to keep your base alive :)

This will create some logistical problems hehe, you will have to send squads out with a harvester (cq ship)
to colleckt that item and deffend and attack a base at the same time :)

Actually, the only thing that will happen is that the clan with the most numbers (Hammer that is) will fly to the enemy base and beat the crap outta them, just like in the ordinary cq. But in the ordinary cq, there's more strategy, since you can move your base and you ahve beacons aswell.

Hammers not most members on cq anymore actually moonshine been the ones with most members last weeks along with goa sometimes. And for the record I like this idea :)

ok I like the idea BUT what I was thinking of was Defense turrents, Invasion Ships(Juggernaut Size), etc.

Simply having a basic is kinda lame because all the enemy has to do is send 1-2 Scouts out and find the base. Also, they might figure out the general areas where bases are located. As is my vote is NO but only just because it takes out all the fun of locating the enemy ship and makes whoever has the most ships will definatly win by simply launching an attack on their enemy and leaving a few ships behind to gaurd from a attack.

But GoA and moonshine does every battle at the side of Hammers, and so i call them Hammers aswell, because they can't actually be considered as another clan, conquest-wise.

How would anybody winn? If i had 15 members sitting on the base, and you only have 14 would i winn.

Or if i had a clan with only 25 members, could i take part of the cq?

Yea, in my opinion, this is for big clan PvP wars, when it comes to lil clans, they will have an extremly hard time getting anything done without their Base getting smashed.

How About an Expirimental CQ using this system on Vega 3? Also, you should be able to add upgrades to you base and even more if its your planet.
