I think I have found "another" bug and want to ask any player who has changed their pilot name to please test this.
Here goes....
I recently tried to change my pilot name but the combination I wanted to use didn't work. So what I did to get the name change to let me get my old name back was to place a "space" after the name.
It was "CapnSanta" and it is now "CapnSanta " (note the space after the Santa).
Now things get interesting.
1) Inside my clan my original name "CapnSanta" was still present and ALSO my new pilot name "CapnSanta ". This I found interesting as the pilot rename from within the shop DID NOT over write my old pilot name but simply added a new name.
The original name had all donated items up to the time of the name change. The new name has all donated items after the name change.
2) Now when you go to my pilots achievements and open up Clan Achievements you can see the Grand Charity bar. It shows 66,014 / 1,000,000.
You can also see that this amount is close to the 66,000 donated by my original pilot name. When I donated 1,000 with my new pilot name (as a test), the amount shown in the Grand Charity for my pilot DID NOT go up that extra 1,000.
3) No matter how many times you want to change your pilot name the pilot achievements should work independantly of those changes (after all, it is STILL the same actual pilot).
So I have to ask... is this a BUG?? More importantly, has anyone who has changed their pilot name has this problem also? Can you please test this yourselves and post results in here.
