Yep ?Hoffy1234 said:I to have seen this message on the screen a few times. Also I have had the problem with the rockets and also the same happens with the blasters. I can only think that this is a lag problem.
As for cooldown this was highlighted before Christmas when a GM witnessed a member in a shock ship shock another player and a then shocked another straight away and this continued. The GM said this would be sorted and nothing happened. I must admit that the said person is on the shame list so he or she should not be a problem any more or will they.
You say that you cannot block IP addresses, so what stops them from re-joining under another name.![]()
IP address are normally dynamic and not static. This means that your ISP assigns you a different IP address every time you reconnect (or at least every couple of days). So there is not much point in banning an IP.Hoffy1234 said:I to have seen this message on the screen a few times. Hmmm... maybe that is how the shock ships are able to stun me over and over again so I have no chance of doing anything???? They only have one stun device correct? All this time I assumed that I was being hit by stun charge and then stun dome, but those are on different ships right? They must have been cheating to stun so fast since their cooldown period would not start until I became unstunned right? But they were able to stun me again before I became unstunned. It was those punks on Cosmo a few months back that did it.defacto said:by cooldown cheating, you can make the repair reload quicker, blaster shoot faster or as in my case, let the collector reload quicker
Yes, shocks from gemini and up have 2 stuncharges, stundome and stuncharge. Stundome is a lot slower though so it's best on large groups as it has aoe effect.sbatten said:Hmmm... maybe that is how the shock ships are able to stun me over and over again so I have no chance of doing anything????
