It has come to my attention that the New Chat System has some bugs in it - Primarily other pilots are seen talkin in your or other Pilots names. Have found a relog helps to eliminate this Issue temporarily. It has been reported. Please do not get upset over it, Noone is hacking accounts as some pilots have claimed. Also there is a Graphical Bug that may show more than 1 of same pilot in Orbit or on Surface - once again a relog seems to cure this bug

oh boy I'm gunna have way too much fun with this is I catch myself in orbit O.

though on a more serious note I hope it gets fixed soon :O that's for haeds up Astreaus :D

I have always said, without the bugs, Pirate Galaxy would be way too easy. Just waiting for a player with my name to pod me. LOL :D

Every software company I have ever worked for has had a Quality Assurance department. Does Split Screen? You guys let some huge bugs through your testing if you do have a QA department. Maybe you guys should stop updating the game and pissing all the players off and either create or fix your QA department.

After experiancing the bug myself earlier today I should say that if you wanna make sure the bug is gone you have to relog AND close your client. I found it doens't work otherwise... also BOTH players involved must do this or one of you will continue to experience the problem. I found it kinda funny to be honest but this is gunna get rather bothersome after a while O.O It really needs to be fixed.

As a note you might be interested to know the bug only seems to activate after orbitting at a given destination at a system. Sometimes the bug will cease after exiting from orbit to the starmap. Only sometimes though.

If we get a warning for bad language but if that was some1 else that use our name do we still get that warning then?

well one good thing...we can impersonate ourselves, especially when a clone of you appears in orbit ^^ :devilish:

Due to Chat Bug, Please (I am asking ALL Pilots) abide by the CoC. I will know if it is the actual Pilot talking or 1 taking advantage of the Bug

Well, sometimes when i try to get on public chat, mine ship starts to flow away in orbit... Thats is irritating :!:

Well this is a new one on me but i got Totaly no Access to Public chat, only clan Chat and Private Chat :confused: but it is annoying aswell as, well, Intreging

The chat keeps getting totally muddled up each time I pass through a loading screen, it's a mess & half the time I'm not getting resent messages to. The clone thing was kinda funny but this is just plain irritating and make communication somewhat bothersome.

Has anyone done a proper report of this chat issue?
With screenshots, and when you do, hit F11 to get the server timestamp in the screenshot.
When you have a chat hanging in there for hours, as I know it does, screenshot again.
The timestamp will show it is a prolonged bug.

When you logout, and back and you still see old chat, same thing again.

In this case report to bug support.
Pilot: xxxxx
Server: xxxxx
System and Planet:
Description: Write a detailed description what you did and do for the chat appearing again, like eg,
I went to orbit, and this chat here was still hanging here

We need as much as possible details for the devs to reproduce the bug, and to find the issue what is bugging in the code.
This will be of a huge help for them to fix a bug.

Also go to Java Medic aka Diagnosis Tool, make the test, and copy the report,add it to your bugreport email.

PC fan is always on, so dunno what u mean. Got alot of mods to remove thought hehe

and my issue went ages ago, how to deal with, keep orbiting and Surfacing, evwen changing Area works, takes a bit of patience hehe
