Cant get into Game (AGAIN) ?

We all know that the servers have big issues atm and it has been/is a nightmare but something new has come up today i cant even launch the game both with the client and browser, All i get is a message saying this :

Error while updating the program. Please try again later.

What the hell SS all these no stop problems is starting to get really annoying seems lately i spent most of the time that i would normaly spend plying trying to log into PG or not playing because of extreme LAG and none stop crashing ..........

If anyone knows of how to resolve the above problem please share info ^^

glad im not the only one looks like we posted our topic same time.
i thought it coul had been my network cuase had some changes today but seems its not the network foult
yet again looks like we got to wait again... maybe we know why we cant get in 4 hours after it gets back on

Yeah please share because i'm having exactly the same problem, i use chrome and the client, which browser do you use SK? i only wanted to log in to use the code to get free energy which they are giving because of the log in issues, on their facebook page they say the log in problems are due to tens of thousands of new pilots over the last few days, what a joke lol

This is also happening to me as well. When I try the client I get "Error while updating the program, please try again later" and from the browser I am getting an application error.

com/splitscreen/launcher/shared/clienttracking/IClientTrackingState

So whats the deal?? Ever since they have introduced Tau Ceti, I have been getting the most terrible lagg, constantly getting kicked out of the server, not to mention bright red on the poor network quality. I can not even play anymore. This is ridiculous. I know the answer. "Its probably your network service provider thats having an issue." but then tell me. Why is it when I play any other game with more high graphics than this game, I have no network issues to speak of? I can long on to their servers with no problem and my "network quality" is fine if not excellent. This is a real pity. Every time the server goes down for big updates there seems to be big problems with how the servers run, yet you all blame it on our networks so you can dodge the real problem. Instead of making some all new system and opening to the game. Why don't you spend all that hard earned money that I spend on this game to fix it and get it running properly so you actually keep clients happy and playing so you can make more money. And while your at it, fix all the problems that have been in the game for a long time that still have not been fixed.

P.S. Today happens to be my birthday and I spent the whole day just wanting to play my favorite game. Instead I had "poor network quality" and never even got to do anything cause I was kicked out 13 times and had so much "rubberband" lagg that I would just end up in a pod anyway. Thanks for the great birthday PG!!
