I received a new computer for christmas, and since beginning to use it, I have been incapable of playing Pirate Galaxy. I play on http://pirate-galaxy.aeriagames.com/, and have a rank 70 (i think, been so long since i got in it i cant remember the exact number) account (pilot name cargone96) on the Solaria server. Whenever I attempt to play Pirate Galaxy, the game will begin to load, but will not reach the pilot selection menu. A pop-up says that "connection to the game server could not be established. Most likely your firewall is blocking the connection attempt. Please check your firewall settings. Visit the forum for additional advice." I use McAfee, and no processes are blocked. I attempted to add Pirate Galaxy to the application list, but cannot. There were no posts on the forum of similar problems, at least not that I could find. I sent tickets in to support, but have received no assistance. I did what support usually suggests, uninstalling java and deleting pirate galaxy files, running CCleaner and a defrag, then reinstalling java and opening Pirate Galaxy again, but nothing changed. I also attempted downloading the client from http://pirategalaxy.com/, but it would not open. I have been trying to fix this problem for the last three months. Can anyone help me?
