Came back to the game- Only to find my pilot won't work.

So, it's been AGES since I last played, which was I think before Gamigo and Aeria came into the picture. I decided to play again, craving a space game, and I have to make myself a new pilot because when I try to log into my old one, which was on the Aeria server, the Client just closes without a word. If the server is offline, or doesn't exist anymore, I'd prefer either that pilot be moved or deleted, because if I can't play it, it's just going to taunt me. Anyone care to enlighten me on this?

I don't how long you have been away but, a wile back all Pilots where asked to reset there passwords on there account if you have a gamigo account

It's not a gamigo account though. This was back before Gamigo, if I'm not mistaken. New pilots work fine, the old one on the Aeria server does not. Wish I could say that helps, but I can log in just fine and make a new pilot just fine. Using the old one results in an errorless crash of the client.

First Portal with Pirate Galaxy was only Gamigo. There was nothing before Gamigo.

PG Started with only 2 servers, Korell and Askone, both with Gamigo.

Only much later Splitscreen took over, but Gamigo remained as portal for the oldest players, and newest as well who happened to have a Gamigo account.

Your memory is playing tricks on you, maybe you are trying to log in via Splitscreen, but your account is Gamigo account.

All other portals for PG came in picture much later on.

If you are from Aeria Portal, then you have to handle your issue with Aeria.

Ah, well that explains it. It does work through splitscreen, and so my logging in with Splitscreen causes my other character, which is on the server Aeria, to not work? That clears things up some. I just never remembered gamigo being involved. Oh well I guess.

EDIT: when I try to log in with my gamigo account information, it doesn't work. It just tells me the password or username is incorrect.

EDIT again: Okay, so looking things through, I don't think my account is a gamigo account. Maybe I started later than I thought I did. My character is on the server called Aeria, on my Splitscreen account. I just can't access it for some reason. Maybe it's in a glitched area, where I'm unable to spawn, and thus crashes whenever I try to use it? It would be nice if someone who's able to could verify this.

-i think i have read that the client only works with gamigo and splitscreen portals?
-so i suggest that you try to log in to your old pilot, by browser only.

-ps, always support your memory with writings on paper:)

Well you can use your PC Notebook, but what he meant really, write in a paper your Username, and Password.

You can do this for each and every site where you have a user name and password.

You can also write in the PC normal note book, then if you have a printer, print it out.
Keep in a safe place what only you know, and remember.
Specially PG details where no one else will get hand on it, like in family, or friends,
as it is against rules to let anyone else go in to your PG account.

Keep safe, and even if something happens to your hard disc, or pc, you will have your details in safe.
