Originally, Dante was a PvP planet. I considered this to be a good idea, as it gave pilots the option to stop other pilots from stealing. However, lots of pilots complained about this, due to lesser clans being unable to control an instance. Even under these circumstances, pilots were more co-operative, because they would be podded if they stole anything. But when a massive PvP battle took place a couple of days ago, PvP was removed to lessen the problems. This change made Dante more difficult for the vast majority of pilots to collect anything. Now every instance has taken to unregulated Thievery, and instead of alliance sharing and co-operation, where most pilots could receive something for their troubles, all drops are being collected by a small number of pilots who already have the majority of what they pick up. The biggest annoyance is that there is nothing the other pilots can do about it. This small collection of immature pilots would never put on their Pirate Mode by choice, as they would be podded instantly, and now they know they can get away with stealing everything, with no consequences. Something has to be done about this, or the event will start to lose popularity, and even worse, pilots will start to harrass other pilots out of annoyance.
There is two options I can think of that could lessen the problems of Thievery. Either return PvP to Dante, or reduce the number of pilots allowed on an instance down to 15-20. This would create more instances, where there would be more chance for any pilot to receive something by sharing with those on that instance. There is too many on an instance anyway; I was on Dante today with around 40 pilots, if not more, and yet all the drops were bing picked up by no more than 5 of them, who just seem to be picking up everything way too fast (Take a guess at what they are doing to achieve this). At the very least, Dante can't remain the way it is, else these problems will escalate; It's the angry pilots, who didn't want to steal in the first place, who get punished for swearing and harrassing, much to the amusement to those small collection of pilots who steal and don't respond.
Many of them say that they steal because the game is called Pirate Galaxy. I say if that is the case, then return Pirate Mode to Dante, so we can show them what it means to be a Pirate.
