BP drops

So I see with the last update we've decided to go the route of Evony and other floundering games?
The BP drop rate is a joke on earth. Killing units for over an hour, 60-75 units. Found ONE [Self-Censored] BP!
That sucks, but what really SUCKS, is the fact that I had a double-BP boost on at the time.

So I've decided that blue BP's must be the new rares, and the gold ones are just figments of the developers imagination. Miazr and Sol suck for drop rates. You need make them a little higher. I'm not asking for a drop on every kill, but going for an hour and getting ONE is lame in the extreme.

I can only imagine what Draconis is going to be like. Figure once it's done, it'll take a month or five to get the 1st level blaster.....

Anyway, with the drop rate so low, it's kinda pointless to buy a booster. Double your chance of an impossibly small rate is a joke and not worth spending the money on. If you can't upgrade your ships, and you can't level up past lv68, well, playing the game is kinda pointless.... Spare me the "go back and get all the ships and BP's" talk. If I wanted the other ships, I'd buy one and go looking for the BP's.

Take it from a long time MMO player: If you make the drops rates this low, eventually people stop spending cash. You get a short-term up-tick in sales as people try to counter the low rate, but then they just get kissed and leave.

Yup a "Nerf" is a Nerf is a Nerf, is when I go find another game. Was gonna use the pay-pal to spend $ on this game. But Now I see the "Nerf" after 6 day's of wait'n for a rare drop, I've found other games. I know I can't post up-come'ing game link's here, but the NO GAME NAMES have come true about the nerf's here. I'll dabble what little interest I have here in PG, but the friends here are also frustrated with the "Nerf"

the thing is, splitscreen deny all knowledge of fiddling with the drop rate... Even though I can prove it is lower in sol compared to gemini just by killing 100 mantis in each. Its not a little bit lower, its about 1/8 of the drop rate. This hasnt been tampered with?

I know you need to make the game harder, but do that by making the missions more difficult or the mantis stronger. Dont fiddle with the drop rates, it just makes people bored, not frustrated... bored people dont rise to a challenge.

Not to mention that you have to somehow farm cryonite, which has a rediculous drop rate off lower mantis, to pay for those bps. The system fails, It was better when there were no restrictions.

And dont say that "all other mmo's have a restriction system..." One of the reasons that made this game good was that it had a lack of restrictions... This is, after all, a PIRATE game, since when did pirates have to ignore some ships because they were smaller and no challenge?

They are slowly turning this game into any other mmo, Which, contrary to popular belief, isnt a good thing.

Yeah !! what is the deal here , bp drops are a joke. I'd play this games cus it was fun, it's freaking lame
and boring now. I'ts gotten to the point where I farm in lower level systems with the systems own ship and
nothing drops. countless hours spent on rare hunting for no avail ,this form of Beware of Forum RULES sucks !!
I will not spent my $ on this game , on top of bp's the mantis are alot stronger , Why ?
You are destroying this game and I will not be playing this game unless it's fixed !
Spending 4 hours of my time trying to get a rare that won't drop , screw this !
5 days of grinding for nothing !!
A lot of my friends aren't playing anymore , i won't either !

True true true..but...

we know Split have to do anything about this dilemma that are waiting thousend of players in end of system to launch of next system and everytime it will be more and more!!
In Gemini we where maybe hundred of member to waiting of Mizar...then we where already a lot of hundred of member before SOL..now in maybe 2-3 month we are thousend of pilots....that can not going on so!

Thats why Split did some method and sure decreasing droperate too.
The BP rate is already on Antares soo soo low is amazing
We shot half hour for 1 BP from Marauder on Lustra! Sure in past u got it like sand on sea.
In facts it is nessesary...
But on other hand is realy frustrating and I recommend...employ more software programmer and not cutting fun of the gamer..then Split u will get more money too when player are happy

im really wondering why i dont have any problems with finding bp for mates and stuff....... i even found a mizar ressurect 2 times after killing 2 ressurectors xD and 5 min latr a mizar taunt...... i really have no problems with bp's at all WITHOUT bp booster..... not in gemini not in mizar and not in sol...

The devs make the game slower, and thats a good thing, but they do it wrong. More missions, Better missions, user created content, higher rewards to a higher risk, More powerful NPC compared to the player, etc
is what this game needs, not some stupid bp drop lowerings.
