Merry Christmas!

Just had this idea since a few clanmates started playing on a new server. Why are we limited with the boosters to only one server?
We buy the gold on the
account which is available for every pilot on each server.
We use the gold on a pilot for enhanced gameplay which is only useable to
this pilot on the pilot's server, but not for the fully account.
I cannot play with two pilots at the same time, why do I have to pay double the amount then?
This would make it more attractive to try out new servers and be more active to progress everywhere.
Sounds to me like a QoL-Update which I haven't seen before on the forum.

I would have played more and paid for bigger boosters e.g. last halloween event and this Xmas event.
My behaviour shouldn't be unique and that's it could mean they would make more money!
I am not the data analyst to say that nor expecting the devs to be transparent about this, just my feedback as a player and the more people who agree the higher the demand. With a higher demand money is made :D

Is it even possible when they don't allow server transfers or sharing achievements, I doubt account wide stuff to be an option, though it would be great

Now, should they make boosters account-wide? From a player's perspective of course we'd like it. From the devs' perspective, they should thoroughly consider whether or not it'll impact their profits.
All I can say is, I play on multiple servers and I'm not going to pay multiple memberships. As a result, I'm currently paying 0 membership while I'd be willing to pay 1 account-wide membership.

Please consider it, devs :)

In the old days of Happy Hours, I remember that half of the gold purchased (was it the paid half or free half I don't know) was actually credited to all pilots of the same account, proving that account-wide actions are possible.

Bought gold on the gold store is accessible and available from all servers of the account, this also means that once something is bought on a specific server, gold will be substracted from the other servers to match the difference.

Hello all,

With this change there could be couple repercussions.

Boosters would be bought less frequently which would mean value of gold may decrease. This could lead to price of boosters being increased (let's be honest it's a business. If you lose money somewhere, you make money elsewhere), meaning players who choose to play singular servers are paying more for a feature they can't take advantage of (due lack of time for multiple servers or lack of interest).
This change may lead to pressure on players to play multiple servers on a have to basis rather than a want to. It feels like a forcing situation on players to make use of their boosters and money to full extent.

Personally what I have seen the players cite as reason to not playing multiple servers is either due to lack of time on their end Or due to length of time taken to reach a competitive state in conquests, reactors etc. Most of these are singularity related which is the route I would take to make changes, in regards to "increasing interest of players in playing multiple servers". It's also not forcing.

I don't think it would result in less boosters being bought, or very slightly at most.

About the argument of "it takes too long to reach a competitive level", it would, in fact, make it easier since any booster on the main server would also boost other servers.
For example, if I'm a regular player with a membership it'd be easier for me to progress on another server if I could benefit from said membership on that server.

I also don't think it would "force" anyone to play on other servers. If the booster is account-wide, there is nothing "lost" from playing on any server you like. You're not missing out on boosters on others servers if you're already playing on one.

Then again, we lack information (data on players paying boosters on more than 1 server at a time) to have an educated take on the situation. I don't think gold has to lose value with such a change.

Long time no speak Genji.
If PG wanted to increase the sales of boosters they shouldn't have made them so ridiculously expensive in the first place, for me personally primarily pertaining to the ultimate boosters.
Not only that, also the quantities in which the gold is being sold, for a supernova memebership which is being sold at 26,800 gold (no discount), why is there no option to just...buy 30k gold, why either 55k gold or mess around with 20k then 3.6k twice over.

Either way, for the price you pay vs what you get in return it's incredibly expensive, and I bought all my boosters when there wasn't discount event going on, rip to my wallet, that's 180k gold (rounded up, too lazy), that's €80 give or take for a single character per MONTH. For that money I can get the best damn internet which is like 2GBP/s up and down for a month as well and I can use that for quite literally everything, imagine if I could only use that internet speed for a single website.

Ngl at this point I'm rather sleep deprived so happy new years all the same but my point still stands, any other game and it's your global account that benefits from you buying anything irregardless of how expensive it is, not just a singular character. This could partially disincentivize people from playing multiple servers but the biggest reason why people don't is the grind itself, especially Sirius (and having to regrind every damn gold in the game).

And if you want a data point on players that bought boosters on multiple servers, I did so on Askone and Solaria at the same time when I got burned out on Solaria and my point still stands because it wouldn't be worth it to spend €160 on two servers at once monthly, that's an insane amount of money for any singular game to spend on concurrently and consistently.
Of course let's not get started on the RDX/Parsecs blueprints you can buy with gold because that's €100 right down the drain and you can't even fly the ship, you still need to grind for a long time to actually start building it and flying it

Right as a side note, why hasn't the 'jumpship is ready for the next jump' message been altered yet and spammed to a lesser frequency, because it no longer has cooldown states?

Again happy new year and gl making any sense of this I slept through the entire day and only been awake for an hour and a half
