Well, well, well well well...

Guess what I found out?

I found a very interesting clue in Pirate Galaxy.

Alpha Centauri might become a system.

Except, you wouldn't notice it so easily.

And all is hidden in 1 description.

The Fusion Force Blaster.

This 'Force' variant uses a Beryllium coated pellet to generate a shockwave, thus pressurizing the pellet core to produce heat at a magnitude thought possible only within a star's inner-core. Fusion powered weapons are only possible thanks to the Fusion Ignition Assembly powering all Centauri Corporation spaceships.

Centauri Corporations, a great name. This would mean that there might be another human star system out there. Or it might be Gemini, that might had been called Alpha Centauri.

Also, the name Centauri Shipyards is seen in the Technatoria text:

Once the home of Gemini Components, an affiliate of the giant Centauri Shipyards conglomerate, this planet was the industrial heartland of the Gemini System. This was the scene of the doomed last stand of the free Gemini population and its defense force... Nothing but charred rock remains.

So that would mean that Centauri might be the colonial homesystem of some sort.

It could also come from Beta Centauri!
Just a thought.
possibly, but SS pretty much follows a lot of the real life world inventions and discussions, such as Ion, fusion, antimatter, darkmatter, zero point etc.

Alpha Centauri is the closest starsystem to earth.

Then again it may just be the insertion of a name from astronomy to give the text a little more realism :D

Are you sure that SS start this?

All we can see is your name on starting of this rumors and there is no post from SS or from any GM about any new system.

SS started using the term Centauri Components, all I did was bring it to the people with a little bit of my own, like a rumor goes,
