I have allready seen someone suggesting a possible 9th or even 10th weapon system for the Draconis ships, but unfortunately i can't find the topic anymore!
Here are my ideas for a 9th weapon system;
Shock Ship; Dark Matter Distortion Pulse;
This system works the same as an Aggrobomb but instead of doing damage it stops all enemy ships within radius dead in they're tracks, inlcuding all weapons system's. So ship's cannot move, fire or use any other system for about 10 second's.(not slower reacharge like the stundome, but no reacharge at all!) The only exclusion is the enginer with it's Protector up, or any other ship that got a Protector from an Engineer.
Storm Ship; Dark Matter Rocket Barrage;
As the name says it; A massive rocket barrage on a single enemy target doing enormous damage. The strenght of the Rocket Barrage would be equal to about 10 rockets.
Armor ship; Dark Matter Laser Destructor;
This is also a radius damage weapon like the aggrobomb but a lot more powerfull. (4 times the damage of an Aggrobomb). It would fire 10 Laserbeams in a circle outwards from the tank and rotate very fast. (like a wheel of death!)
Engineer Ship; Dark Matter Armor Materializor;
This support system increases the target ship's armor by 4 for about 20 seconds. This system is used the same a Protector, so you can use it on yourself or on a buddie.
Shadow Sniper ship; Dark matter Cloacking Device;
This system would render the ship completely invisible and with it, all target locks lose they're target. Shot's fired at it will completely miss the ship, and the enemy is unable to lock on the Sniper ship.
As all these systems are very powerfull they would have a couldown time that takes twice (or more) time then a Thermoblast/Stundome/Aggrobomb/Materializor or Attack Charge, and costs twice the ammount of energy to use.
