It's possible that with too many in squad you don't get a lot of blueprints. it's better to be with 1 or 2 in squad.

I know what you ask. but when PG is gone what will you have to show for your money spent? I think PG is gone already (I dont play, but used to pay). Maybe spend your money on better things.

Why keep buying something that does not work for you? This makes no Logical Sense. I suppose if you had a Machine dedicated Solely to Playing Pirate Galaxy & not running any other Apps or being used to browse the Internet, Talk with friends, Read E-Mail & do only You Know what with, Then maybe your PC would more easily be able to use Boosters.

96% of the Issues out there are PC Related. 99% of Pilots in PG have no clue as to what makes their PC Tick & that is why Splitscreen like many other Software Developers have a Support Site

Unless you are a PC Guru with Multiple Years of Experience, How can say your PC is in Perfect Working Order? I will admit Mine Isnt & yet I still am able to Manage the English Servers, Pilots, GM Team & play PG with no real Issues.

Yes I use Boosters on my Pilot & usually have No Issues with them. When I do the 1st thing I do is look at my PC Settings to see if any changes have been made w/o my knowledge. Also if I add any New Programs, Applets or anything else to My Machines, I look to see if they are the problem if any occur.

I can go on & On about this & get into much detail on the various Issues, But I dont want to write a book. BTW. I have tested every Booster on My Pilot & found no Issues with them. The Lowest End Machine is a Pentium 4 2.6 Ghz Processor with 1 Gb Ram, Windows XP Professional, Highest is a Core2Duo with 6Gb Ram & Windows 7 Ultimate 64

lol astraeus, this is really a strange answer you give


bp booster are settings related to server (serverdatabase) otherwhise you had to buy a new booster each time you playing from another pc .

booster give a higher chance : say normal chance is C, with booster 50% you have C x 1,5 chance to find bp. if C is extreemly low : 1,5 times extreemly low will still be extreemly low.

You buyed one for 3 hours, so sorry time was to short.

Astraeus don't start with pc settings as this as nothing to do with it.

not only you have worked with pcs for a long time so dont treat me like im an idiot, my pc has i7quad core at 3.2gig per core, 12gig ddr2100mhz ram in triple channel, 2 ati 9870 in crossfire. just cos you know a little about pc doesnt mean your the be all and end all. as you say you have been doin pc for 30 years that doesnt make you good at it, if the bp booster doesnt work its down to YOUR DEV TEAM not someones computer, what a stupid answer lol, if some has bad lag or cant log on or graphics problem then yea it could be there pc but if an in game gold shop cash item doesnt work then im sorry but thats your (ss) fault not mine, lol just shows what you know about pcs if you think a booster that you (ss) designed and but in game can be effected by what iv got on my pc, this must be the first ever mmo iv ever heard use that excuse before, all i ever hear is its your pc this its your fault that, have you ever thought that for one second that it might be bad programing or bad coding cos we all know ss make alot of mistakes (they are only human) and maybe just maybe my 2500pound computer isnt at fault and its your coding thats wrong, iv been playing around with pcs for about 12 years and there is nothing to them i can build one in 30mins easy so yes im a guru as you put it, isnt it amazing how all ss staff never seem to have any problem at all ever with the game but EVERYONE else does, dont always blame us the reason you have support is so we can do your job for you and report BUGS you missed and when i say your or you im meaning splitscreen ok

Your absolutely right. cant agree more. Booster just dont work all that well in draconis. If it was my pc then why is it that i still get a sea of blue when im in vega, antares, gemini, mizar and sol? Everywhere but draconis, which takes 3-5hrs just to see 1 blue bp! LOL oh maybe im playing a a dedicated pc ONLY when i visit lower systems? Sure, dude, ill go fire up a 2nd pc just so i can get bp? Where on the system requirement for Pirate Galaxy ever states " Required Dedicated pc to PG only!" LOL Get real, NO1 sells a pc game with those Requirements

bosters stooped working after legendary graphic path they made in sol times. I stil remmeber ppl who with the best bp boster were trying to drop SSB for few days P, times when after this path droprate lowered so badly...

i have to disagree....buying a booster doesnt give you a 100% chance of finding a bp. it helps you find them it doesnt find them for you.

The "thing" with the BP booster is that it gives you a percentage INCREASE IN CHANCE of a BP to drop from a PRESET VALUE! Each planet is programmed with a specific value of bp drop ( infact EACH MANTIS level can be adjusted)!

The PROBLEM of BP boosters is that they become INEFFECTIVE once the BASE drop rate chance gets too low. And THIS is the problem with Draconis! The basic rate is so low as to make the booster practically useless. This mainly is at the Hive although Gazic is also very low.

I really think slowing us down by reducing the effectiveness of shop items we buy IS NOT the way to go!

As has been stated many times before, If its not working, report it , stop buying it & wait till its fixed. Why keep buying it & then complain on Forum? This will not get it fixed any faster, The Issue has been reported, a fix is in the works & soon there wont be any problems with it

we dont know if its broken too we just intrust in splitscreen not to sell items in the cash shop that dont work, what about the 10 or so 3 hour elite bp boosters iv bought over the last few weeks???? will i get a refund on my gold since i was sold an item that did not work????, we aint to know if something is broken we can only tell you it doesnt feel right cant we, how many times over how many new systems have we said the bp boosters dont work i can think of a few. Working on a fix???? cash stop items should be sorted out within hours not days or weeks!, have you(splitscreen) taken the faulty items off sale in the cash shop??? if not you are willingly selling faulty items
