2k12 Spaceball Event

Despite the event only starting today, I already have 1 problem with it. That is that I can't access all the drones without paying. Only being able to go up to Sol, I have no access to the 2 drones from Draconis, So I was wondering if the drone missions locations could be changed around every so often, so everyone can get a shot at every drone without having to pay gold.

ahh u got around 20 days, more then enough time to get to draconis and even hive

You need to have all parts of a drone completed and fitted to a ship before it will increase in level when a team wins. If you only get a Drone when the team has just the final left to play then you will only get 3% fire power and not 9%.

In short, you have until 12 June 2012 to get the drone you want or you have no chance of getting 9% fire power.

Lets face it, unless the winning team wins all 7 of their games then nobody will get 9%. lol

I asked a GM yesterday if they would be rotated to different planets and the response was he was they we not aware of any plans to rotate them.

Also, If these Drones are permanent, and will always show a countries flag, then who would want to fly around in a ship with a countries flag different to the country they come from?? So unless you a from one of the countries that are one of the favourites then expect to get 3 or 4% fire power at most. It's debatable whether 3 or 4% is really going to make any significant difference anyway.

I appreciate SplitScreen are making an effort to put events on more often now, but this one is just going to cause a lot of resentment to the majority of players in my opinion. Also, all the events now seem to be Gold driven to an extent, which is causing frustration amongst players I've spoken to.

Only positive point is that everyone in a squad gets a drop when one mission is completed instead of one drop between all. Guess it's a start in the right direction.

I for one will not be bothering with this event. (I'm English so there's a very good chance of not winning any games. lol )

What i was told about the event that every time a team wins the drone goes up one level max level is 3 so total of 3 % who ever wins the euro that drone is trippled in value to 9% maxium this info comes from highway in vega chat other day

good thing about the event its you can solo it would of been better if to level the drone you had to pvp bring back the pvp side . bad thing is no one wants to fly with another countries flag maybe put an option in where u can change the flag after the euro has finished ? and does the 9% stay for good or for a few and then reverts back to 3%?

plus could we have both drones on at once fire power n defence drone

ok, i explain why i was talking about the subjet (2k12 spaceball event).
If i am not wrong, subjet is: "2k12 Spaceball Event".
Then i want to comunicate to this forum my humble opinion about this subjet. My opinion was : "i dont like this event". The way i choose for comunicated what i think about the subjet (2k12 spaceball event) was make a list of the last good events (in my opinion) from dantes one until today, in that list i of course NOT MENCION the actual event (subject) since is a list of good event!!! (in my opinion).

Of course i know you have the original mess, and i hope now you see in tha mess the main idea i wanted comunicated enterely about the subject (2k12 spaceball event).

By the way, when i write here i do with the hope of give some hint (from my point of view) about what is very good, good, regular bad or very bad, so the people in charge of developed this game can have an idea when they do well, regular or bad. I think this kind of post can be used by developers for make a better game.

Note that when something good happend in game i am the first in said and write it. but when i see something bad i have to write it too ( (of course all from my point of view that can be sumed to others point of views and have better idea about what is going on in game)

The best i have seen so far are:... by u saying u want to list the 2 good events puts your reply in the direction that they should do more events like the ones you have mentioned - like u have just said - the: "they should do more events like these" is what the mod meant by turing the post in to your own thread. By doing this you might create discussions etc on the events in question.**

In this event (2k12) i dont really like the drone percentage. I have 1 drone at level 3 and about 5 at level 1 how has that worked out? the drone in the shop should level. I can see the reason why they have not done this as it would result in everyone buying that drone for the 9% damage boost, no matter what the country.

i think that after the event, the drones should be permanently leveled in the shop so that all the drones i buy (and currently have) are the 3%

(altho tbh im surprised i have 1 at 3% :L - i have England Drone ROFL!)
