2009= veteran?

there was a beautiful time back in 2009 when we were happpy with the game. mistakes were made but still we were happy and had fun.

We (pilots who are here since 2009) should get some kind of a reward for sticking this long to pg. if we are still here it means we have gone through all the mistakes and i think it's normall we get rewarded. I was thinking about a special ship fully armored and fitted. It should be at least equal to a draconis ship maybe 10% better.

to the ppl who will probably disagree since they joined a bit later: we been through more mistakes so i think it's normal and we have to draw a line somewhere because if it's given to everyone it's not special anymore.

why we should have that extra, most of us have already the benefit of full ships compared to new players and you want more. As you post it's for fun so first thing i hope they tune Sirius so we can have some more fun back.

Well we've been through a lot more trouble so i guess it's only fair we get some kind of reward. it doesn't even have to be a ship just something.

ah you have a point, but anything extra will be even more a disavantage to new players. So new complaints.

when we get like a tag or something that just something they can't get and well they'll just have to get used to it but when we get like a new ship we can help them with the new ship so the disadvantage would be that big.

nobrainwavesdetected although you are right, a ship wouldn't be the right thing as a reward because these new guys would start complaining for sure.
Maybe a paint job or something like that would be nice.

How about just Recognition? There is so many Pilots that have Passed the 2 year mark that have left for a time & came back & those that have continuosly been here every day for 2+ years. Recognition would be for continuous service to the Colonial Empire

A pirate Galaxy Veteran's Tag does seem awesome for those that played 2+ years...but i wouldnt count on SS making a tag for us...if they do then thats great...

The ONLY reward we should get is a sign to place above our computers that points out how much TIME we have WASTED playing the game! This becomes even more obvious when you play Sirius.

I also agree on this, would be nice some kind of recognition, but actually, how can pilots who's been playing this whole time, be separated from those who started back in 2009, and many been on long breaks, some even only played maybe the first 2 Months?

As well nobrainwavesdetected I see your name maybe for a short while in this forum, I have never seen an active player with your name in Askone.

This recognition should go for those pilots who been playing continuously without any longer breaks,
and who is still wearing proudly their original name what they started this game with.

The date when a player joined, does not mean anything when someone only been playing a couple of months, then got bored and turn to another game, for each time return when a new system opened up, there are several pilots like this, and also players who are returning from a 2 years break for to continue playing.

Recognition is earned when someone has been around with good, and bad days.

Yea why dont we get a reward, most of the paying people pay more than 500 euros every year and there is no game that earn such good money from a smaller player community. In steel legions I received a mail where I have a gift with free elite items wich cost a lot if I would buy them with real money. Well I even didnt accept the gift because I play pg and not steel legions and why dont we get gifts in pg?

120 days is just a fraction of 913 days, even 2 years play, 730 days, now thats an achievement.

Well then nobody is a pg veteran I got 148 days, thats 5 hours everyday i played pg in 713 days (2years) so thats still a lot because we all also have a real life ^^ And btw im not a orbit hanger

no they are called people that dont work 12 hours a day, iv been playing and paying for this game for over 2 years and played 160 days so im the real veteran not someone that doesnt work and has all day and night to play this game for free

As there are many servers what has been created afterwards.

All servers has it's Vets.

So someone that played 145 days in 2 years 5 months is also no pg veteran (without being a orbithanger)? 145 days played on 863 days seems not a lot but we also sleep 8 hours a day, we eat, we go work, we go doing sports etc. And a lot of players are orbithangers btw and they are not veterans

adrana i've made this account to prevent flaming ingame. I know it doesn't happend to much but still taking no risks.

days played is also not a good idea since i can just leave my account afk 24/7 and i will still get more time on it without even using it. I don't think we can give the pg veteran status based on 1 requirement. let's say time played joined date and idk maybe do little quiz so even old time players with newer accounts can get it.
