This is an alloy. It is purchasable in the shop under "ship alloys". this is the antimatter alloy and i remember spending around 100k gold for it. it is a permanent upgrade that applies to all your ships. it also grants 3% speed, armor, and firepower.
Additionally, if you finished the final story mission "Face off", and have enough gold skulls, you can find alloy blueprints for each system of ships. howevr this is level 99 content and it does not come with the 3% boost

alloys and engine trails are filler bps so players farm remnant and 9th slots slower so why the hell would you ask for more of those just make them a generic bp and when installing choose the color
With this I implied that Ship Alloys should be customizeable from Vega on. Would be the best in hangar and just select like a Color Pattern. In my other big post I suggested also that engine trails should also be early game content and easy to unlock or even free at the beginning.03 // CUSTOMIZATION SHOULD START EARLIER
Customization should not feel like something reserved almost entirely for endgame.
Basic Ship Alloy colors could be available earlier, while rare versions stay tied to difficult Remnant content.
That would give newer players more ownership over their ships while keeping special rewards valuable.
I agree with you there, but the funny thing is that the purchased alloy doesn't really make sense. Why? 1. You can now go to find the alloy in the endgame. It's not that easy and fast. 2. The 3% bonus from the purchased alloy doesn’t work in Pirate Mode, but the other boosters do—though they’re automatically disabled in PvP and Colossus when you enter combat. That was overlooked with the purchased alloy. So the alloy you find as BP should also provide a certain bonus. With this I implied that Ship Alloys should be customizeable from Vega on. Nice suggestions, but i wouldn't remove the % bonus from the alloys. What if each alloy what can be found with the XC units have separated bonus features? E.g methanoid alloy skin: 5% cooldown - 5% range - 5% critical attacks. Ancient Alloy skin: 5% effect for all tc reboot techs- 5% less stun effect - 3% automatic repairdroide when out of battle within 20 sec(less power than the long repairdroide). The alloy skins should also be active in PM when you're not in a PvP battle.@KingSub and @sergi211
Suggestion:
As I see it now a good solution that could generate more revenue for Pirate Galaxy and reworking Ship Alloys is:
1) Remove 3% perma bonuses and current Ship Alloys
-> refund all players the gold spent for the permanent Ship Alloy
2) Standard Ship Alloy stays blue
-> add all Ship Alloy Colors into shop without 3% bonuses
( Red / Green / Cyan / Yellow / Orange / White / Black / Pink / Violet (/Gray))
-> each costing 20K gold (e.g.)
-> selectable for every ship and every configuration permanently
3) Add Ship Skins
- add skins into the game for specific spaceships into the shop (Starting with Classic parsecs or doing a community votes on which Spaceship deserves a new skin)
- small design changes: 10K Gold and full redesign change: 25K Gold (e.g.)
