There is no reason to give such high WS in Sirius missions, that will just discourage people to help in other missions (the real important ones) because the WS vs effort ratio will be much worse.
I remind you that Sirius is designed for missions such as PvE to be carried out in squads. One person alone does not have the capacity to advance quickly in Sirius with the system's technology, which limits their capabilities when playing solo. Perhaps if they use full boosters, they might be able to. And even then, the speed would be slower than in other systems where you can kill all the units in the system completely on your own.
Or, based on your complaint, increase the WS of important missions as you say x3, x4 or more so that its competitive, otherwise it would not make sense to do so, and decrease those of Sirius.
