Imo not really an good idea even when it takes ages to gather cryonite it is rewarding once you have all those cryos to build your ship up even when at a certain point farming isn´t really an big deal anymore.

It gave already the request that at least cryos would be automatically picked up without the need to collect them 1 by 1 while keeping the collecting of BPs, Gravs and Mission objecs but even this has never happened so far so implementing an "Idle option" would be even less likely.

This is where the real debat is happening cus if we look rationaly at it with the new drop system that has been implemented since quite some time cryo stealing isn´t really a thing anymore cus you see only your cryo even when shoting with other or the squad sees his cryo while shoting with others and the same even counts for BPs where however an autocollecting thing would be bad if you go for specific BPs in a group or wanna help someone to find the BPs he needs.

In most situations autocollection of Cryo is more an QoL thing now then anything else cus if you hunt for cryos and have a good droprate moment the time to collect all those cryos is adding up overall. And even if SSG would implement an Cryo Collecting drone (or adds this to the PLUS Drone) if it would have the collection time of the currently installed collector it should be fine but give the players a bit more hunting time in return.

Again it would mainly be an QoL update rather then anything gamebreaking if they just would take the Cryo/E-Cell collection "away" or rather said speed it up a bit by this. I don´t really care about Energy cus i have Ult Mem all the time but sitting in an E-Field for an "eternity" can be a pain and if not enough BPs drop with TC tech it just needs around 5 Items to have 1 TC BP consumed already and most units definetly need more then 5 items

this feature with collecting cryonite and blueprints (for parts or energy) would make sense to the players who actually go to the harvester zone to grind. a drone would help here out. collecting feature is "okish" but not for combat modus. imagine you kill 5 harvester in Earth in unrest there is so much bp and cryonite. collecting drone will help out. but the question is : do we need this? i dont think so
