xp system

I really do think that they should bring back the old xp system because the new ones is rubbish because it takes to long to lvl up and people become bored and quit the game because they want to lvl up and they can't because the current xp system is rubbish. I have been leveling up for 2 weeks now on gazica and have only been able to get to lvl with top gazica tech.


Please bring back the old system

Get those top gazica items on your ship and then go shoot r66 enemys alone.

Thats how we all got our lvls when there wasnt bigger players to help.
It took long time back then and so it will now also. But it also works...

the new xp system is irrelevant if your killing stuff solo, but i do agree this new xp system is up there with the bad updates that pg will never get rid of...

pg must not want any new players i guess, i have invited like 7 friends, only 1 stayed to play and there only lvl 19 inactive for a week, because leveling up is too boring, and they get bored of the game before it even starts...

All I know is if people would just stop worrying about leveling up, and just enjoy the games they play, maybe they'll enjoy games more. I myself don't really like the xp system, but I don't worry about it, because I just simply enjoy the game. I'll level up when I level up. in the meantime I'll have fun killing Mantis, attempting missions (usually failing multiple times), and helping others. I made it to level 19 in a short amount of time, because I didn't sit there an 'watch' my xp gauge. If you sit there and watch a clock, time seems to go nowhere, but if you're doing something you enjoy, time will go by very quickly. The same principle applies to the xp system. Just enjoy yourself.

This is the spirit of this game, this is what it was 3 years ago when some of us started to play.
People in these days are far to much worrying about issues what really doesn't have any bigger importance, and they just do not stop for to enjoy the real game play.

Too hurry for to level, use new system ships, doing story-missions just for to progress in no time.
Even expecting to be dragged through by other players.
In old times we did play the game, that means we enjoy it, we didn't care nor whine for the pm, or red is dead issue, we took it quite natural, we didn't run through the system, just for to reach fast the last created.
We had Fun without worrying too much about these issues what seems to be the main whining and complain reasons even in this forum.

We learn the skill to play & survive on each planet we reach, we were able to solo whatever we confronted.
In these days players like to ask for help for everything, there is no patience anymore for to learn the game as should.

You keep up with your spirit like that, and you'll do well, please do not loose it on your way up. ^^ :mrorange: ^^

True i soloed from vega to gemini ( last few missions ><) and mostly mizar, sol and draconis, actually i wanted to solo Sirius too but even with my dominator it's quite impossible XD
They really make it for sq/clan only, so i have to change my playstyle too as solo player that is hehe
