XP for PM true or false?

I am wondering if someone from SS can give a 100% answer to the question do you or do you not get XP from beaing in PM mode.
When gamigo was in charge it was 10% XP for PM (or so said BLOB product manager) lots of players use PM for XP, and risk getting poded.
I thout that after the item shop update it was no XP for PM.
It would be good to get a strait answer becous there are alot of "urban legends" in this game and 100% info are hard to get about some things in the game this only beaing 1 of them.

Pirate Mode:
What does it do?
Pirate mode is Pirate Galaxy’s PvP (Player vs. Player) mode. When you have this mode enabled whilst on a planet surface, you can attack and be attacked by other pirates. If you successfully defeat another player in this mode you gain experience and have the chance of collecting blueprints for improvements to your ship. If you successfully shoot down a Mantis craft whilst in Pirate Mode, you receive 5% more experience points than you would have otherwise earnt.

Seems a bit old! lol. You don't get experience nor blueprints. As to the XP I do not know.

Ok i just try it out, PM on
played for 9 min got 7 BP's and 11 cry stones + from mantis on the Moon.
I already now about the exp i get 5% extra on Earth

No the chance of collecting bps is referring to podding players.

Yes BuccaneerBill is right here, it is the old way when players drop BP's when died in a pvp.
There is some old fashion data in that description, but I believe the 5% is about right here.
I am not 100% sure myself. I'd like to know the correct % amount myself.

Kimbo as LGM should know this answer I believe?
