Vega Rares

I'm trying to collect the SC-X Thunderstorm and all Vega tech. Any suggestions/areas where I can get these items?

Have you checked out this site yet? It contains all bps and what they drop from.

As for the Thunderstorm, I just flew around killing Rocket Turrets and Marauder Commanders on Aurora, and if my info is correct, Rocket Turrets drop Thunderstorm and also the Venom Rockets, Marauder Commanders drop Thunderstorm and also the Vega Aim Pc (it took me quite a few rare aim comps before I got some Thunderstorm parts).

Patience is the key when hunting for rares.

Most Vega rare tech only drops on Aroura. There are two exceptions: the AnIn-X Colonial Lifter and the AnIn-X Colonial Jet. They are basic ships for use on the starter planets, they aren't much use on Aroura.

The SC-X Thunderstorm drops from Rocket Turrets (which also drop Vega Venom Rockets) and Maurader Commanders (which also drop Vega Aim Comp). Be patient when hunting rares they can take hours (sometimes days) to drop. Like when i was hunting Gemini Speed-Actuator, it took me 3 days to find all the parts.

Thanks for the help/advice, but without a membership I'm spending the same, if not more time getting energy, so its even more frustrating.....
