There are a few pilots out who fly more than one type of ship depending upon the mission or system.

Wouldn't it be great if the standard button controls were the same for ALL the ships?
Specifically, the Afterburner and the Repair Droid... They can switch from button #3 to #4 depending upon which ship you're flying.

You sure don't want to hit the repair droid when you need the afterburner to get out of a sticky situation.

And you sure as heck don't want to hit the afterburner when you are just about dead and need to repair before you can fight your way out of a situation.

What do you think devs?

Lol, wasn't really a problem if you learn how to fly each of em.. I got used to my sniper after selling storm very fast.. easy controls.. this change idea isn't necessary..

No one said anything about necessary, no one said anything about getting used to it, I just don't see the point of ONE ship having a different configuration in regard to the 4 standard components.

'Skill' is of no pertinence here, we are talking about button configuration.
