Ultimate pirate 2010 signing out...

Sad that it has come to this, but I will leave the game.
I was just holding in there with the clan as I put down very hard work to get over 15 people in my clan to the mantis hive during the first weeks. I kept on constant grinding for bps for myself and others, really got boring shooting sometimes for 3 hours before 1 bp drops...
Then it got slightly better somehow when I bought a bp booster I got about 10 bps in 3 hours, and also a few rares the second week. It was ok as it was, and I went for the gold skull. I stayed up late and woke up early to win the gold skull, and I managed it. I go work a few days come back and I see my 3 gold skulls taken away. That was the last strike for me, take away everything that I work hard for, I also spent 600 euros on this game and all you do is punish us by restrictions and overpriced items and ridicolous drops. And you also now remove the skull that is meant to honor us for our hard work. And I also had insane high bounty first 3 weeks, and being the one with the highest score at the end, even had 84k bounty first week and what good did that do? nothing absolutely worth nothing... Also I seen the pvp system in this game slowly fading away... PVP was the thing that really was fun, as I mostly won everything the last 4-5 months, I really did my best to stay on top and be the best pilot out there on askone server.. I got recoqnized and got compliments by players which kept me going and aiming higher and higher everyday.. I did everything I could do be the best at it, and I dont see any point to continue anymore.. Almost forgot to mention they also managed to ruin the conquests, they really made sure everything got messed up, yay... At least I had the fun of being the king for some months before they ruined it all.
I really hope that they change the game, then maybe it will bring me back into the game.

Razorkill, In some of my posts I mention players contribution to the game. You were always one of the strong contributors that I talk about that helped make the game what it was. Hope to see you again in the future.

A real shame to see one of the best pilots on the server go. I too hope this improves, but PG is no longer on my desktop. Let this be a message to SS- you failed, miserably.
PM me what you are playing instead and well see if we can get all the "oldie" PG players who quit onto it.
Good luck on which ever game you intend to "become King" on next, and Merry Christmas! Shame all the "christmas spirit" has been drained out of the players.

I don't have problems with the bounty, but if you have 0, it should regain the points everyday.

WTG SS! The best pilot Askone has seen has quit, as have several other veterans. I used to play this game 3 or 4 hours per day, but now I have spent about 2 hours in 9 days. For me it is the bp/cry drops, and the ridiculously difficult SM's. You have made it so that anyone playing in Draconis has to pay real money just to stop losing cry when they are podded in Draconis. I fell for that and paid for 3 months membership, and 1 month cry protection, and it was a waste of money. Xp takes forever to go up, and Draconis bp's are just too expensive, which mean more cry grinding. No-one I have spoken to likes to grind, although yes it's understandable to do it, but it just takes too long now IMO.

It seems that SS are not bothered so long as they get money from the game. The problem there is that of those who have spent much more than I have are leaving because they have had enough, which if this continues, the game will die.

i think you shouldnt loose any cryo if your not in pirate mode when your podded, you should only loose cryo if your in pirate mode and the cryo you do loose should be able to be picked up by the person that podded you

That's a good idea, makes PvP sound like a better idea, you get something out of it.

and on normal plaets they should make a 30 seconds cool down but with a free materialize.

Been there, you put all the effort in and you get nothing back. Having had one of the best or the best clan for 6 or so months and got nothing in return except 10% extra cry in one system or something, what is the point. It is even less now. The new pirate mode..what is the point? Oh wow get some warscore...we get warscore from mantis! Now you don't even get the measly 5% xp with pirate mode on, you also need a bounty which few players will have. Now you have more risks too as people can turn their pirate mode instantly on, attacking you at your weakest. Nevermind the lower health of the ships too now with worse repair than the old ones, you die too quick. I haven't done any of the proper PvP events at V3 now for over a year since that one where you gave out alot of gold...I only did 3 of those as I was trying to quit the game lol. Those were fun as there was a proper reward after the 7 rounds, up to 350k gold I believe to the winner. I think since then the rewards have been somewhat reduced and I can't remember the last time V3 was opened.

Why do SS even lower the cry drop in lower systems for us? We lose over 1000 crystals per pod (which is alot of times), up to 90k per rare, 248k for an armoured ship and theirs so many people grinding now for all this, that their aren't really any free slots.

Very bored! See what they do Razzor, I only want to complete the SM now...and if the prices double again for the next system then I shan't be playing.

I have quit, Razzor has quit, everyone is quitting.

The new measures SS are putting in may help, but I think it is a case of too little, too late. How much time have we been campaigning for a bigger e cap? As long as I can remember. Sadly, every player who would have benefitted from these updates have now left.

Naw... losing Cryo when you die, isn't a bad system.

I think the Losing Cryo part should be calculated like this.

If you aren't in PM, then the Cryo drop should be calculated by the level ship you got. Like before the update. Then it would be much less. before the update, If I died in a SOl ship I only lost like 150-200 cryo. Now when I die I lose like 400.

If you are in PM, then the cryo drop is calculated by LEVEL. and the person that killed u can pick it up,just like how twistedmetal said. That way you'll be challenged to take on harder and stronger players for PvP.

Also you shouldn't lost any money while u are in PM when some higher player kills u while the person is noob hunting lol.
