I just had a thought...

At the moment we have two types of loot: cryonite and bp. Why not include a third? I'm talking about treasure maps. What im thinking is that if you find a treasure map (extremely rare) It will give you a destination where something is hidden. When you enter the star map you will be able to see this destination and travel there (sort of like cosmic anomalies if you've played eve online). At the destination you will encounter massive amounts of mantis so a squad should be formed. Other obstacles such as riddles could also be included. When the Mantis is defeated the squad splits the cryonite reward (A LOT). The owner of the map (squad leader) may get a bonus plus he also gets access to a superrare ship or bp. This idea was designed for endgame but can also be applied in the earlier stages. Here are some ideas for hidden destinations:

Enviroment

- empty space
- Astroroid field
- Shipwreck area
- Interplanetary clouds
- Mantis mothership (moving across starmap and extremely rare)
- Old satelite
- Mantis starbase

Obstacle

- Mantis (of course)
- Riddles
- Teamwork activities (Fx place ships at different positions to unlock reward)
- turrets (Mantis mothership)
- timer

of course all of these can be combined for harder challenges

Reward

- exp (A LOT)
- Cryonite (A LOT, split up in the squad possible with bonus to mapowner
- Superrare ship or bp (only for mapowner, Can only be obtained through treasure hunting)

Thought this would be a cool feauture in the game and would provide some of that variety people are looking for... what do you guys think? :)

MNaps should drop from amntis with the same rate as rares.

Some of them yeah... but some of them I think should be a bit more rare as the reward is much greater
