Thrust engines

Hi all,

I'm wondering weither this sm had a bug or it's difficult to end it.

I did sm Search Molikar with Slimsis yesterday evening but something strange happened; While Slimsis protected the damaged ship is went towards the place where all the engines would appear (i did know this from previouis attempts but failed). Collected all engines in search area; went back to damaged ship to deleiver engines but got message "not compatible..".
I dont understand this, i collected all engines but sm didnt succeed.

Does any1 had same experience or am i missing something?

Know that but collected all items; there wasnt anything else to collect

It used to do that, got updated some months ago.

Not sure if this was a bug and fixed, but I remember when I did it, if you click on an engine and scan it I think, it comes up something like item.engine.$ or something like this. If this still is the case, then the one that has item.engine.true in its name is the ONE correct engine to collect and take back to the little ship. Like I said, this might have been a naming bug that has been fixed. Make sure it has the word TRUE in the name.

No it doesn't, and it was TRUEENGINE in the name in past times, it also had several pink spots spread over the map.
Now in these days it has a big marker of the area, but when I helped with this mission, the Thrust Engine was in the center of the red mark. I didn't see any other engines, just that one and only.

If there are several, I think you are supposed to pick up only one, the right one, and I assume the mission fail cause you pick up them all.

If you pick up the surface engine and give it to him he says that it's the wrong engine.

There are engines all around the marked area. all of them are surfice trust engines except for one, it is marked orbital trust engine.

The problem is, most times you wont see the engines untill u are directly on top of them. I know, i have done the missions about 20 times with other players since the mission was updated.

My advise is to go arround the whole target area. But one tip. If you havent found the engine within 3 minuts, get back to the damaged ship and try to defend it, because some rocketeers wil come down to kill it. I you are succesfull in defending the damaged ship you will have all the time in the world to find the orbital trust engine.

DiCapo as you put it nicely i searched the whole area but did not find it. Even did the sm only to find out if the engine did exist, tried it with West69 with no sq support, West69 defended the damaged ship and i searched but could not find the missing item. Tried it with support of others but mission stay failed. So i am open for suggestions?

I would like to move on to Sol but this sm either it's bugged or something else it preventing me to end the sm but i have to end it in order to do next sm.

Any1 any useable suggestions; let me know or pm me.
