Hello everyone, my name is El Cetrero Fantasmal (The Ghostly Falconer),
im a pilot from Aurora server, and i want today to present to you a project that i had in mind for some time.
This is Tortuga Island Tavern:
In brief summary, a web page were pilots, fleets and alliances can manager which blueprints are currently droping on which planet of sirius, and how much time they have left to get them.
I know its a bit late for this (4 years), all of us got used to manage this kind of stuff on a way or another, anyways, this can simplify the task of managing this kind of stuff, i know how messy this can get when you are part of a very big alliance with tens of fleets, each one in different planets of Sirius, and having a list with blueprits of each feet, and sometines even from planets that do not longer exits!, and at some point in time this can get very hard to manage.
This webpage would make the task of managing the blueprints of sirius more easily than ever, allowing only-alliances to see the blueprients or even only the members of certain fleets to see certain blueprints, having a searchbar to search for a blueprint and see if its droping somewhere.
To be honest, i have a lot of ideas about how to improve this project, and i exactly know how to do it, anyways, I NEED to know if someone here is gonna use it, cause i'm not gonna make something and then let it go to waste, and the problem is that i need a bit of feedback, or atleas some confirmation that some of you will use it when its done.
I need to know if someone will use it, and i need to know it until this 27 Saturday.
I know its very soon to ask for this, but due to certain reasons, i need to confirm this as a "viable project".
Q: Are you gonna make some money with this page, or sponsor someone external to SSS on it?
A: No.
Q: Why you need to know so soon if someone is gonna use it?
A: Well, its a bit complicated, but i may use the project as a final course project.
Q: Is it gonna be another wiki / wordpress / (generic content manager) page.. right?
A: Nope. I hate content managers, the page will be made with Typescript (Angular 2) and NODE (ExpressJS).
Q: If you are from aurora, why are you not posting this on the spanish forums?
A: well.. the spanish community... no.. Aurora's player base is currently more like an "authoritarian regime", due to TC delays and stuff, a lot of people A LOT leved the game, and now there's only one big alliance, an alliance that more like an alliance its like the middle earth but sauron got the ring scenario, they will not gonna use it, they soometimes dont even share blueprients to each others in the fleet, what to say about alliances? Thats why im posting this on the english formu, due that all other server servers are more participatory in this kind of stuff, (look at the hitchhiker's guide to pirate galaxy).
