Sometimes when the game is opened, I'm doing my normal thing (grinding) and the game all of a sudden closes unexpectedly for no reason and does that for a long time, apparently it also seems to happen to other people as well which makes sense as I have multiple PCs and if I open the game on either of them, they both have close suddenly at a flash which couldn't be good, i.e. if i'm fighting an ancient boss and the game closes for no reason, that wouldn't be my fault and I could lose the bps that they drop. By the sounds of that, this doesn't seem to be a problem with our internet connection or even our PC, I think it might be a bug/issue with the game. I would be handy if you respond developers.

Same thing happens to me and my clanmates too. At least once a week this happens.
And this week it has happened 2 times already.
It started happening after the update for event was published..
hope they look into it.

Best regards Razzorkill

It would be great if you send a ticket to the support so that we can track down the source of the crash. thx :)

When you get a client crash, note the time. Then in the game folder look for the "hs_err_pid????.log" file that matchs the time of crash. The main source of the crash should be in the very first lines under the message "# Problematic frame:". Per example, I got a crash a couple of weeks ago when I tried to make a sequence of screenshots to capture important data from the chat. The crash log was this one:
View attachment hs_err_pid3212.log
Main source:
# C [D3DRenderingSystem0201.dll+0x1b1f0]
(problems with the graphics card trying to get the screenshot, maybe cause memory exhaustion)

For me, it more likely happens if I try and open the shops or scanning someones ship, but it's still possible to close randomly out of nothing.

Also when I'm logging on to the game, the buttons have just disappeared so I can't get back on my account.

If the buttons don't appear that is because the client is stuck in the handshaking with the main server. Open the Performance Monitor and check the network use by the java.exe instance. There are three instances, the one that shows the login is the last one (the first loads the client, the second shows the updating and checking screen)
