If I didn't experience it for myself I would not have believed it, but I met a level 40 Mantis Avenger on Molikar, on the bottom center of the map between the Rocketeers and the Parasites, that I simply could not kill. I not only could not kill it, but I couldn't even shoot it.
You know how sometimes you click on a target and as you attempt to kill it your blaster cycles repeatedly but no shot is fired. This is usually attributed to lag, and eventually your blaster fires multiple shots all at once killing your target. Well this situation is similar to that experience, but I was able to select numerous targets in the immediate area and fire without problem. However, each time I selected this one Avenger I was unable to fire a shot at the critter no matter how many times I tried.
Okay, I know you all think I am nuts . . . and maybe I am. But, I'm telling you the darn thing would not let a shot be fired on it, while it continued to fire at me without any problem at all.
Please, somebody find this varmint and verify my story as true. And, if I am just nuts . . . lie to me!
