Test extensively before releasing a new patch!

I must say, -at least- 5 sms I did were bugged.
I even wonder these days, does PG get an extensive check before a patch will be released on the official servers? Does PTR really serve a purpose?

The way I see it now, no, not at all. So many things are bugged, especially the story missions.
I hope things will change in testing patches, because Delivering such badly glued together patches won't be good for the popularity of PG.

what sms? some things appear to be bugs in the program that are not related to the program at all. also, the PTR is only as useful as players let it be. If nobody tests something on the PTR then any problems in that won't be solved. also, even if somebody tests something, It doesn't matter if they encounter a bug if they never report it. A big portion of the ability of the PTR to find bugs is players actually doing their part and testing the right things.

Which is why I'd like to see a dedicated group of users test out the oncoming patches properly.

Finding Beryllium
Bombs Needed
Dirty Water
Gaining Entry
Molikar Search



All of these bugs could've easily been found if there exists such a dedicated group. yet, atm, there isn't .

Dirty Water is just a pain in the rear to do, it isn't bugged

I personally think it's the latter.

If someone who's part of the testing team could confirm my words, then I'll try to get SS to give you guys more testing time, or maybe a way of advertising for your testing team, for more members.

Know that I'm just a user, not a member of the SS staff in any way. When I said I'll try to get SS to do something, I just simply meant via the normal ways of contacting them, just like any other user in the PG community would.

Haven't you read the tester application thread? It sais that all testers can't tell anything.
