Suggestions from the new AGE server

i have heard that a lot of these have already been suggested by older players then any of the AGE players... but i hope the Devas will understand how important some of these suggestions are to the players and make the changes to hopefully increase our over all player pool.

1: E-CELLS:
make E cells give more energy
*make it posable to buy (X) amount of energy at stations with cry... say 500e for 100c*
*and another thing.... so many of the E cell fields have mobs/rats mixed in so you spend almost all of the e that you have farmed fighting mobs/rats making it take almost 10 times as long as it would have in the first place.*


2: Blue Print NAMES:
suck not knowing who should pick up the dropped BP.... especially if it is a rare drop... like a rare ship.
*or maybe shine green if you already have it?... wouldn't be helpful if a rare dropped that no one had but better then nothing*


3: CHAT:
make it so that chat doesn't disaper when you load a new place


6: STASH BOX:
a stash box would be great... so that you could stash items and swap techs from ship to ship with out having to buy them over again.


7: STATS:
more info on items and ships
*even if its just a guide... would be nice to know the stats for items and ships*


8: MISSIONS:
better mission labeling... like what level mobs/rats you are going up against and if it will be timed or not.
*maybe add energy as a reward to help save time from farming energy*
** also maybe add blueprint as a reward for PB missions so that every one in party gets the bp**


9: COLORS:
make the custom color box a little bigger.... so hard to get the right color when it is so small.


10: MESSAGE MANAGEMENT:
make it so we can delete our own messages
(not sure if you cant only on clan board of on friends also)


11: CLAN MEMBERS ONLINE:
make it so that ONLINE clan members are listed at the top not the bottom


12: HOTKEYS:
make it so you can move the techs to different hotkeys.

13: HYPERSPACE:
would be nice if the cost to go in to hyperspace costs less as you got near the target.


** these are the combined ideas from AGE players not only my own. **
i removed some of the things AGE players came up with because it doesn't apply to the devas... if any one has other ideas/suggestions feel free to post them here i will try and keep an up to date list.

OH and one we just thought up.... and really dose need changed.

the exp is not shared with the whole PT unless you have shot the mob.... this really sucks for engineers.
mostly when we are using the repair field... it is such a small AOE (area of effect) that we have to manually move our ship to keep people with in the healing field.
even if we are on follow the person is just out side the AOE... so we cant shot any thing during this time.
not to mention the time it takes to select the person who needs healed... and then trying to select the next target to shoot.

i thought that maybe some how i just wasn't grinding as much as every one els in my clan but i am online more then any one els and still 10 levels (ranks) bellow the people who are as far as me.

again not me that came up with this... but after a very quick considering of this i realized that this is really hurting engineers... and over all every one.

Nice, just if you are appointing to something what regards PG, there is no mobs/rats in this game.
First of all, learn to give the real given names for MANTIS.

When I read about your mobs and rats, makes me instantly think you are writing in wrong game forum.

Imo there is no need for to make once more a new topic about exactly the same suggestions as has already been written.

Most of your suggestions has been seen by the devs, and I am sure it feels as annoying for them to read it repeated again, and they realize they wasted their precious time to read something they already have knowledge about, as it feels for me.

I am going to close this thread and please do not crosspost again.
If you have own suggestions your welcome to post them.

Hi Toorimakun, Welcome to Pirate Galaxy forums. By AGE server I'm assuming you mean Aeria Server?

I'll try to answer your suggestions as fully as possible since some of these are simple base level changes which can be implemented with little development time and some are coming soon anyway.

Buying Energy with cryonite will never happen. Even if we, for some bizarre reason, wanted to shoot ourselves in the foot by doing this, Aeria games will oppose it for obvious reasons. Nevertheless, we may have other plans for energy in the future.

Blueprints can be scanned in Vega conversion update.

Also won't happen because balance and design reasons.

We have an official wiki at wiki.pirategalaxy.net and there are about 6 other more established user generated wiki's which are linked to at the bottom of the main page in the official wiki.

Vega conversion update has a completely new mission window. More mission info will be added eventually. But the current cryonite as a reward for missions is definitely better than energy which can be bought or farmed easier than cryonite. I think the blueprint missions are getting reworked soon too.

I must have overlooked this annoyance. Months ago I suggested that completed missions and mission bulletins get placed at the top rather than the bottom and it got done. I will put this forward too

Been suggested by a veteran askone pilot before but there are many problems associated with implementing this so it could cause a cascade of dependency bugs but don't discount this from happening. The devs sometimes figure things out on the fly.

I'm moving this to the suggestions forum but you could just do a thread in the Aeria forums. Your product manager will forward it to us. and I also read the Aeria forums frequently and sometimes jump the Aeria server to answer questions.
