I'm sure at some point the idea has been thrown out there for a bank for Cry. But I have noticed many games in the past have done it, and still do. It isn't really an impossible feat, well coding wise I"m sure it is.

Taking an example from the collective games that have been burnt into my head over the years it never really is something free. There is either a cap and or fee. The fee tends to be about 10% rounded up to the nearest whole number. example I try to drop 100 into the bank but only 90 is put into the account... or something like that to lazy to do the math right to make this arguement more persuasive.

IN ANY CASE...

I'll avoid coding completly as I am not a coder and don't even pretend to be one on tv. What I can tell you is that there are many ways that Splitscreen and whatever attached companies there are can make profits.

1. Can be done like a membership is. And when said membership expires simply either lock it till they get it again or deposit it automatically into the cry count on a ship.

2. It is a service that everyone can use, lets face it losing 1k+ because of mantis attack rape is never fun and takes away from the game.

3. It can be regulated so the economy isn't messed up. As mentioned above there can be caps as to how much you can hold, deposit daily, ect. (However I think people would be more than a little PO if they could only store an equal amount to the energy they can hold... at level 27 thats 3.2k some people speand much more than that on a low tech blaster for an area.)

How I came to the conclution this is needed.

I lost way too much cry way too fast working on a story mission I didn't realize doesn't work well solo offten.

In short:

Even though there is a system in place for protecting your cry it can't do the one thing that at least one person other than myself likes to do. Set some aside incase I need it. Yes some will say then don't speand it and you wont have an issue. Well guess what I can't see into the future to know I should have saved the 10k rather than working on a vega ship to help new players. Or hey it turns out my tank can't do jack in this squad. <insert more off the wall things that happen here>

In the end grinding can be a royal pain. and sometimes to get the best profit means you have to go bellow your tech amonst other things making it take even longer. I have boosts and I can tell you some days I don't see a differance in drops. It is a system that can be use well to appease everyone from staff to players.
