Starting a new game?

Is there a way to restart the game from the very beginning without having to make a new account?

I believe you can ask a GM to delete your account, at least, that's what they once said, don't know if they still do it! Otherwise, make a new e-mail account and register again (if this is legal and acceptable)

Yes you can make another account, but there is no way to restart already existing account.

Maybe it would be a good idea to have the option to restart the game but still be able to use your exsisting account.

It would at least prevent having lots of un-used account taking up server space.

I don't see it possible to make it happen, it could cause abuse.
Lets say you are a rank 30 pilot, you restart without loosing your cry and items, that would be a huge advantage over the new starting players, would just not be fair towards them.
Everyone starting from zero must have all same starter facts and rights.

I don't think he meant without losing cry or items, the only thing that would stay is your gold (obviously).

If you are a veteran player, currently the only way for you to play the new Vega system is to create a new pilot on a different server. But in the near future, we will introduce the option to replay the entire game story from the start with your existing pilot. This will allow you to enjoy the new Vega without relocating to a different server.

Fact is that it will let you play the story missions from the start, what means, all sm's from start will be once again visible for you in the Mission panel.

I doubt there is no need to reset anything.

Maybe ysome one has acted like an idiot and wants to restart their account changing your pilots name and starting with nothing and they dont want to make and remeber another email address just to play one game.

If your account gets hacked then you can loose every thing anyway so why not allow people to totally reset their account?
