Squad Battles Questions

So, today, some short time ago, the Mizar squad battle took place; Death Squad and Democrata were fighting. During this fight, at the 'last stand', some Death Squad members fired upon Democrata before Go was announced. This is CLEARLY a violation of the rules but instead of the members being disqualified, that last round was simply restarted; I do not understand why. I would like to be enlightened, please.

Last Round was Re-Fought due to the Fact I did not see who fired the Thermo-Blasts & to make it fair for both Squads since No-One admitted Firing

Excuses ,excuses. I'm not saying they would have won, I am saying you cheated and should be punished for it. All the energy packs etc. awarded before was not due to favor with GMs, everyone who wasn't there should have received their squads prize so long as they weren't disqualified.

And yes, I suppose we would need all the help we need, otherwise we wouldn't need it, eh?

This Thread is for Questions about the Tournaments. This thread is not for arguing. Any more arguing over who won or recieved what by Registered Pilots may DQ that Pilot from any or All Tournaments.

To set the record straight, The reason for the Delay at the start of each battle is to verify the proper pilots are on the Planet & Ready for Battle. All Battles are alloted 30 minutes, but are usually over after 5 or 10 minutes or less. As for the Delay in the finals, That was brought about when the a squad was podded & woyld reland only to be jumped in the LZ & had no chance of regrouping with their squad. Rewards are Given to Pilots who earned them in the winning Squads & who were not DQ.

If a pilot or Squad is not Ready for Battle after landing when asked They may be DQ from the Tournament. No Shows are Automatically DQ

As a new player i appreciate the enlightenment.

Perhaps my next comments are better in the suggestions box than here, just let me know.
1. I would like to see the squad leader(s) (typically responsible for the conduct of his/her squad/players) DQ'd from event for infractions of battle rules and ignoring directions given by GMs during an event.
Ultimately, Squad Leaders are responsible for their Squad
2. Good change in the format in allowing all players to be on the planet before allowing a battle to begin. This eliminate the "shooting goldfish in a barrel" scenario as players try to return to the surface.
That will not work on Vega 3 - it will throw off the Tournament Scores & be to hard to manage unless scheduled that way
All in all, I give Kudo's to the GMs and Splitscreen for continuing to balance the field of play and making the game a blast for new and old players alike.
