Ok since I'm in a brig, I'm bored and I got some inspiration. No, I wont write a novel, but I'll give ya Sirius Story Outline before the Sirius is even out. Hell, some of you (me as well) havent even yet completed Draconis. But no matter. Ready? Ok fill up your energy reserves and we go to Sirius before it's even out.
Sirius System:
3 Story Planets
1 CQ Planet
Starbase Hangar
Wormhole
With the mantis queen defeated, mantis are disorganized, scattered throughout systems and on the run. New era of peace is at hand and rebuilding may commence. However your task isnt over and call of duty is still upon you...
Intro: Carl Sagan Lab scientists inform you that they've made new wormhole generator which should open a stable wormhole in conjunction with the Artifact. However you have to find planetary gravitons which are scattered throughout planets of previous systems.
PROLOGUE (Phase 1 and 2):
Phase 1:
Your journey starts on Aurora, where you're called to investigate a case of huge mantis that is guarding a strange red orb. It appears to be planetary graviton. Buckle up and engage.
Mantis behemoth (equal or a bit stronger than the one in Vega SMs) is guarding graviton - Kill it.
(Vega tech only) - (possible introduction of member of mantis high council - keep reading for further explanation of their role)
Lustra miners have detected huge mantis unit that is guarding some strange blue glowing orb.
Mantis unit (similar but a bit stronger than last one in Antares SMs) - Eliminate it.
(Antares tech only) - (2nd high council member in custody)
Gemini defense force informs you that they have obtained an intel on big mantis unit next to a yellow orb in the Technatoria core. Investigate.
Mantis unit (same as Lord Fam Doom in last Gemini SM) is guarding the graviton. Take it out.
(Gemini tech only) - (3rd high council member behind bars in Terasa brig)
Molikar industry workers inform you that they've spotted a strange ship guarding a green ball. Hurry to Moli in Mizar system and investigate.
Mantis unit (same as one in last Mizar SM) is your obstacle to graviton. Destroy it!
(Mizar tech only) - (4th high council member in pod)
Sol Space Industy has discovered strange readings from they satellite while they scanned Earth for rare ores. Further scans showed huge mantis next to a strange white ball. Proceed with maximum caution and investigate.
Mantis unit (like Lord Fam Doom in last Sol SM) is guarding graviton. Make a few extra holes in his hull.
(Sol tech only) - (5th high council member caught)
Your Methanoid friends from liberated Gazica inform you that there's strange mantis guarding something that looks like a black ball near their spiritual temple Archynox (SS could put this temple where Transporter Hijack stun towers are or near energy field in that area where r66 rocketeers are) where they train their psy powers. Help your new friends.
Mantis unit (some unique design like stuff GMs use on invasion) is your final obstacle. Take him off the grid pilot!
(Draco tech only) - (6th high council member apprehended)
Phase 2:
With all 6 gravitons found and all 6 high council members in your custody you get back to Terasa to Carl Sagan Lab. While interrogating mantis prisoners they reveal the order in which you need to place gravitons around the Carl Sagan Lab so that you adjust graviton harmonics in order to make stable wormhole in the space above Carl Sagan Lab. When done bright light shines from top of the lab and you orbit and enter the wormhole (SS shoud put it there). Ancient artifact connected to your ship's navigation computer guides you to Sirius.
Phase 3 (Sirius Story Outline)
You arrive to Sirius system, home of the Ancients who are enslaved by Mantis. Mantis took control of Planetary core stabilization generators. You are contacted by the resistance with whom you do missions which link the story such as waging guerrilla warfare against Mantis (destroying factories, generators, cryonite refineries, spaceports on the ground, rescuing prisoners who will aid you later when you do final battle on each of 3 planets etc.). You will witness Mantis cruelty (Gamma ray bomb) on innocent Ancient civilians as a retaliation against your guerrilla warfare. Your ultimate goal is to defeat all 3 bosses on each of 3 planets who hold planetary core stabilization generator control chips. With all of them acquired you stabilize the planets cores. Ancients are grateful and they give you second complete ancient artifact/or you get 1/3 on each Sirius story mission planets after defeating bosses. Final boss is queen again. After this you return to Terasa and use second Ancient artifact to navigate through the wormhole to Tau Ceti.
So there ya have it. Sirius story before it's even out
