Hello all,

I think most of forum readers have seen some of my posts.
Most have an opinion on Sirius gameplay and it's not very positiv.

I have seen some changes that make life a little easier. Thx for that. But there is not much effort to make big changes. So with that in mind (developers insist on this system) i have a few idea's.

There is no way in Sirius you can predict what you will find on a planet. It's a big questionmark everytime we reach a new planet. Now, like many players, I cannot be online whole days. i have a few hours on an evening and some in the weekend. That results in many half built BP's.

1) Make the planets last longer.
2) Make the jump-reach for jumpship bigger.
3) Double the cooldown from 24 to 48 hours.

That way clanmembers can still jump to a planet to finish off something they started. And it is a litlle easier to try an reach more planets.

Remember this Sirius system is a huge 'casino'. All drops are determined by chance. This way you just have more chances on finding something usefull.

These changes do not basically change the set-up of Sirius.

I just hope developers see themselves that they have to think of something to keep players in this game.

Bye

In my opinion -

I do not agree with you; Sirius need some changes but those aren't the one to consider.
The cooldown is already long enough already.
The allowed time for every planet is also long enough just plan your jumps better... and if you can't get to the planet you wanted to go in time; well... too bad; It will drop somewhere else another time.

If you're in a big clan; use the amount of available pilots to kill mantis faster to make em drop BPs faster;
if youre in a small clan then you have less BP to collect - makes it even.

The more planet you hit; the more tech you get. the faster you get to them the faster you can get different tech.

if the planets last longer; then planets would spawn slower which means less different tech in the same amount of time.
ie. lets say all planets last 7 days. 6 planet on the 5th ring. ; in 28 days there would be 24 different planets with 5 pieces of tech each.
if these planets would last longer lets say 14 days. ; in 28 days there would be 12 differents planet with 5 pieces of tech each.

Same thing if you double the cooldown; that would mean less planets you can get to in a certain amount of time. which would get you to the same point I just stated.

so when you are saying '' Remember this Sirius system is a huge 'casino'. All drops are determined by chance. This way you just have more chances on finding something usefull. ''

its a wrong statement. You would have the exact same amount of '' chance '' finding something useful... but it would take you twice as much time.

faster you can hit different planets; faster you can find something useful for you or your clan mates.

For the planet jump range; some planets has and Extra jump range distance it has already been considered; it is made so that from the 3rd ring you cannot jump to a 5th ring. and... you can always decide to stay on the planet you want the tech even if your jumpship is far far away :)
...

for my idea of what would make sirius a bit better its more about the missions... and ill be posting that in one of my thread that way i dont take over yours. lol

Indeed you are very right. I don;t know if u have a job or not. Well I do. Nevertheless I come onlin almost every day.

And yes we jump and jump and jump. For months now we are jumping. And in the end i have god knows how many BP's only half build. No Sirius ship and that is what we are tryin to find desperately.

I am bored and frustrated enough adn for sure i aint gone stick money in anymore.

So have fun in ur speed casino.
