Today I have something to share with you,
BTW this is my first post.
----------------------
I have noticed that some items (names) in Pirate Galaxy have an interesting similarity to things in real life.
It is part of the Wiki now!
Here is the link :

Please comment on this. I will update the document soon. ^^ :mrorange:
And hi everyone! ;)

Yes, Pirate Galaxy is based to be in the future. It's not a fantasy game or something, it's telling the story about a differant sentient species that is trying to steal minerals from planet surface.

This is a very predictible future, in a 1000 years, (the time where PG is based on) it is possible that humans have ventured to differant galaxies and found other aliens.

I know, anyway, I will help you with Tau Ceti.

Tau Ceti is a star in the constellation Ceti and looks a lot like our sun.

Oh, and have you seen the two bps: AM "R1-D1" Repair Droid and ZP "C2PO" Aggrobeacon? :mrorange: :mrorange:

I'm sorry but it is a fantasy game because even though this might happen hundreds of thousands of years from now it is not happening now so that would make it fantasy.

I'm not saying this to flame you or anything I just thought it sounded funny that you you said it wasn't fantasy.

lolz, you are right, I mean you have often those fantasy things with dragons and magic and you have science fiction such as PG wich is much closer to reality. ^^

hahaha :p Nice one, pbhuh :mrorange: . I will be updating this info. soon to include planets, and Tau Ceti, + Langrage Similarity.

Well, there is a mention of um.... nebular dragons in the description of the Draconis Storm Class Meta -01 Storm. (or whatever its called, pls correct me pbhuh)

Anyways, many of the technologies also discovered point by point, exist in real life, with the exception of Zeropoint Technology (which is described as undiscovered by humans, so it is apt to say that we do not know anythin abt it).

Ion Technology (Antares + Vega)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ion#Related_technology

Fusion Technology (Gemini + Mizar)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fusion_power

Antimatter Technology (Sol)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antimatter

An insight into how expensive AM Tech is :
"Some researchers claim that with current technology, it is possible to obtain antimatter for US$25 million per gram by optimizing the coll......." :( :( :(

No, it is Lagrange Singularity, Singularity has something to do with the gravity of blackholes not sure. Lag-Range might also be some kind of clue...

Joseph- Loius Lagrange (born Guiseppe Lodovico (Luigi) Lagrangia) 1736 - 1813. Italian mathematician and astronomer. Discovered Langrangian points in 1772 where a small object affected only by gravity can theoretically be stationary relative to two larger objects (eg. a satellite with respect to the Earth and Moon). Not to be confused with geostationary orbits.

Thank you Divine.
However it just leaves me wondering to a clue, could there be a planet, with a moon, with a moon?
i mean, like satellite orbits moon, moon orbits earth.

There are a lot of satellites that orbitted the moon, otherwise we would have never seen the back of the moon.

A few of these were the apollo starcrafts that orbitted the moon a few times.

It is interesting, this has been discussed long time ago in the forum.
I would rather suggest to add the data to PG Wiki, or PF Wiki add the link to that site.
Maybe you could join the Wiki Masters and work only on that section.

Great idea.

2 minutes should be enough to post a section of the english main page.

If you wanna work on it, here is a link, however you do need a wiki accaunt. Oh, please don't use your real name and you can just put a lot of nonsense to biography, it was a protection against spammers, but it's pretty annoying...

Ok, earlier someone mentioned the price of antimatter to currently be $25 million US dollars per gram.
I hate to rain on ur parade but it is actually $67 TRILLION US dollars per gram.
Now I am certain many of you were hoping to buy a few grams of AM when you are old and rich. XD XD

one thing, about the moon orbiting a moon, then i would suggest more somthing like a hive orbiting the moon, an artificial planet. would be a great idea for sirius. and i btw heard some rumours about it lol

there is a big chance that anything of information, not given on the PG Website or the forums (or wiki, but that never happens these days, (delloda)).

there is also a very small possibility that in sirius a moon will be orbitting another moon. Why? I bet the starsystem engines have to be modified for things like that because the starsystems currently have a minimum size. It's impossible to see details or even create a very small moon (like phobos or deimos from mars).

But it is possible to create a huge planet, and then an Earth sized planet, and then orbiting it, a Lyris type planet.
