server select screen

ok, i couldnt find another post with this...

nearly every time i select my server on the log in screen, the server select screen fades away, as usual, but im left with the background for about 4 seconds. Then i get a loading screen and says the classic "cannot connect to server" message. If i retry, i cannot get through,and i have to get lucky and log in first time otherwise i cannot connect.

I suspect this is my own connection, so i wont post a medic report without a few of you guys agreeing that you also have this problem.

On another note, if i close the game in one of these loading screens... I double click the pirate galaxy desktop icon, it comes up with the loading thing next to my cursor, but the loading thing dissapears and the game doesnt load...

Anyone else had either of these?

I had this issue a few times myself. A way I found around it was opening task manager and changing the priority of the process from normal to above normal and then back again. Once you change it back, click retry and you will be back at server select screen but this time you will join the server instead of being told its offline. Hope this helps.
