I'm sorry if I missed something, but what are the system requirements for this game?

All I could find was something on the support page that supposedly tests my system to see if its compatible, but the program didn't seem to work (if it not working means my system isn't compatible, might wanna invest in a program that actually tells me that it won't work ;) )

Anyway, when I try starting up the game it simply rotates (very slowly and choppy) a view of space. The game doesn't appear to be too graphic intensive, so my guess would be that the game requires DirectX10???

no it doesnt need dx10 cos many ppl play this game on windows xp which doesnt support dx10, try update ur drivers to the latest ones or if u have on bored graphics chip go into ur bios and set ur system ram to apply more ram to the graphics, most pc will strugle with on bored graphics on this game. try find out if ur pc has an agp or pci express port and by a cheap graphics card this will make it run alot better. plus can i ask what operating system u are using and how much ram ur system have

Well I know that I have a crappy Geforce 5200 FX. It pretty much dies on graphic intensive games, but this game really doesn't appear to be that bad.

Heck if I can still run EVE you'd think I could run this. Wish there was an option to lower graphics before entering the game :/

Sadly I don't know what this thing has for RAM, I didn't buy it. All I know for the processor is that its a Pentium 4 processor :D

I'm getting a nice new computer soon, but for now I'm stuck with this. I'm on XP btw.

5200 should be 512 Mb (slow ram ) lol.
Be happy that this game is nothing compared to the real "Sytem " eaters (try NTW with full options lol).
Also a good speed up is to check your 1/1 performance of your monitor (nanite mode?) .
For Ex i got 22 " and it runs best at 1650*1020.
